A 14-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to raping a 91-year-old woman after breaking into her home.
Jesse Stone is set to be sentenced as an adult for the attack at the elderly woman’s home in Reddick, Florida, on June 9.
The victim, who has not been identified, saw a ‘dark shadow’ in the hallway of her house. Before she could react someone had ‘pounced on top of her’, court records filed on Thursday stated.
She recalled fighting with ‘all her might’ to free herself but was subdued as Stone ‘beat her head with his fist.’ As the attack went on, she prayed, ‘dear God, please help me’, as Stone told her to ‘shut up’ before raping her and fleeing.

In a statement, deputies said the community stepped in and stepped up to aid in the in the investigation.
‘I told everyone last week that we would find the person responsible, and we have,’ Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said in a statement a little over a week after the heinous crime.
‘I’m very proud of the hard work that my detectives and forensics team have done on this case to bring about a quick closure.
‘This type of unimaginable violence is still shocking to me after all of my years in law enforcement.’
He went on to thank the people of Reddick, the small town south of Gainesville where the attack took place.
He thanked ‘all of the citizens that sent in tips and leads in [the] case’, which saw the suspect put in cuffs after a little over a week.
At the time, it was revealed a neighbor of the victim provided law enforcement with videos of Stone. Shortly after, the same neighbor saw the teen riding his bike in the same set of clothes.
Stone was subsequently arrested and admitted to entering the victim’s home – as well as striking and sexually abusing her.
He also admitted to the rape – as investigators revealed it was evidence and results from a rape kit that confirmed Stone was, in fact, the culprit responsible.
‘The Reddick community has shown its resilience and support for us and their community through all of this,’ Sheriff Woods added of the case – which will now enter its sentencing stage early next month.
The fresh court documents further revealed how Stone gained entry to the residence through an unlocked door, and that he also lives in the area.
Moreover, he also knew the woman he bombarded with blows while raping her, the records showed – describing how he often stopped to speak with her for polite conversation.
It was even revealed he was at the victim house that same day, hours before – though no details were provided.
He’s now set to be tried as an adult – due to the severity of the crimes he’s now admitted to.
In the interim, the heinousness of his actions have left locals in complete disbelief – with several in the town of barely 500 saying they’ve never seen such depravity before.
‘I don’t know what this world’s coming to,’ one man Tampa-based NBC affiliate WFLA.
‘I wonder what happened to the boy to make him become a monster at 14,’ another local added.
It left even rattled the most seasoned of the sheriff’s deputies, Lt. Paul Bloom admitted to the TV station.
‘This is something that, even to those of us in law enforcement, is still shocking,’ he said following Stone’s arrest.
‘I think it’s anyone’s worst nightmare an elderly female wakes up to see her attacker coming through the dark.’
His boss Woods, a lifetime cop who assumed his office in 2016, went on to add: ‘This type of unimaginable violence is still shocking to me after all of my years in law enforcement.’
Stone’s sentencing, meanwhile, is slated for December 19. He will remain detained without bail until then. The victim was not named.
