Ricin found in the home of Southport killer Axel Rudakubana’s home could have killed up to 12,500 people, a court heard today at his sentencing.
The teenager obtained 150 castor beans that can be used to make the deadly poison while he also downloaded an Al-Qaeda training manual with instructions on how to produce it.
Rudakubana has twice been removed from the dock for interrupting his sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court as families sat nearby branded him a coward.
Rudakubana unexpectedly pleaded guilty to the murders of Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar on Monday when a trial was due to open.
