'She's a competitive person': Yummy Mummies' Jane Scandizzo slams co-star Maria DiGeronimo over 'extravagant' baby shower

The show followed four lavish mums-to-be as they awaited the birth of their children.

Jane also counts Bec Judd as a close friend.

As the show premiered, fans were agog at her Instagram, which showed Grand Prix red carpets, glossy film premieres and days out at the races.

Jane co-starred with three other ‘yummy mummies’ Maria DiGeronimo, Lorinska Merrington and Rachel Watts.

Jane created controversy ahead of the premiere when a trailer was shared on the Channel Seven Facebook page which showed her attending one of her friends’ baby showers.

‘She’s put the scan on a balloon!,’ she exclaimed about Maria DiGeronimo’s decision to emblazon her uterus on a decoration at her lavish party.

‘Does everyone need to see inside your uterus?’ another cast member added.

Yummy Mummies originally flopped when it premiere on Channel Seven back in 2017, hitting a tragic low of just 207,000 viewers for its final episode.

However, the show found a second life on Seven’s streaming platform, before being picked up by global giant Netflix late in 2018.

Yummy Mummies has become a runaway success since hitting Netflix, with the show’s ‘villain’ Maria’s Instagram following jumping from 60,000 followers to over 460,000.
