Natasha Oakley revealed on Thursday she had a 2.5cm tumour removed from her left kidney.
The model, 35, shared the news to Instagram alongside a series of photos from the hospital and post-surgery.
‘Little life update… The last six months have felt a little different. In March, my Prenuvo MRI scan found a small 2.5cm tumour in my left kidney,’ she began.
‘After multiple scans and a biopsy, we decided the best course of action was to do a partial nephrectomy—to remove the tumour and part of my kidney.
‘Last week, we successfully removed the low-grade cancerous tumour, and now I am on the road to recovery.
‘There have been highs and lows, but overall I’m just so grateful we picked up on it.’

Natasha went on to thank her best friend and business partner Devin Brugman for flying into the country to ‘take care’ of her.
She also gave a shout out to her husband, Theo Chambers, who ‘has been there to hold my hand every step of the way’.
‘This little health hiccup has been nothing compared to what so many people go through,’ Natasha continued.
‘It has just made me feel even more empathetic towards anyone experiencing health challenges—and, of course, even more appreciative of my own health.’
Natasha finished her post by thanking the MRI scan company Prenuvo, Dr Mandarian and the nurses ‘involved in taking such good care of me and my littler kidney’.
‘I’ll be back in a bikini rocking these baby scars ASAP,’ she added, referencing the small surgical incisions made on her stomach and back.
Natasha shared a gallery of photos alongside the caption, the first of which saw the blonde beauty lying in a hospital bed while wearing her blue hospital gown.
Another mirror selfie showed the incision made in her back to remove the tumour, as well as several made on her stomach.

Other photos saw Natasha partaking in some skincare while at the hospital, with another pictured showing her friend Devin sitting by her bedside.
Natasha and Devin rose to stardom in 2012 after their A Bikini A Day Instagram account won them legions of fans across the globe.
The stunners would post daily photos of themselves wearing bikinis, and later decided to capitalise on their popularity by creating a bikini-based website.
They now boast a combined Instagram following of 5.1 million, while their Bikini A Day Page has 443,000 fans.
The business-savvy beauties parlayed that early success into their own bikini brand Monday Swimwear, in 2014.
