Ariana Grande’s fans prepared for a wave of emotions on Tuesday when she revealed that her grandmother Marjorie will be featured on the closing song of her upcoming album Eternal Sunshine.
The 30-year-old singer and actress — who starred in a first teaser for her film adaptation of Wicked earlier this month — revealed the full track list for the LP after previously sharing partial updates.
The fleshed-out song list includes a thirteenth and final tune, Ordinary Things, which features ‘nonna,’ the Italian term for grandmother.
The hitmaker’s fans were overwhelmed by their feelings after learning of the sweet feature credit, and they began to share a resurfaced video of Ariana dancing with her grandmother that she originally posted back in 2018.
The sweet black-and-white clip showed the two cutting a rug to Get Well Soon, which was featured on Ariana’s 2018 album Sweetener.

The full-length LP had been released just days before she shared the dancing clip.
Ariana has been sporting blond hair in recent months — which she returned to for her role as Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked — but she also had long blond locks in the throwback video.
She was featured with platinum hair on the cover for her hit album Sweetener — which topped the Billboard 200 — and she carried the look over to her promotional period for the LP.
Nonna was dressed in all black in the dancing video and had a shock of curly white hair, while her granddaughter looked far more casual in a baggy dress-like sweatshirt.
Her pale blond hair was styled in two pigtails that were tied into a single ponytail that was draped down her back.
They two grinned ear to ear as they danced around the room, and Marjorie playfully twirled Ariana around at one point.
‘Claiming ordinary things ft nonna,’ wrote one excited fan who reposted the video on X (formerly Twitter).
‘No cause this video of ariana and her nonna warms my heart :’),’ gushed another fan.
One user wrote that the song ‘makes me emotional and brings me back to this video … i love them.’
Another fan highlighted some of the other songs from Ariana’s past albums that have featured audio from Majorie.
‘From daydreamin to bloodline to ordinary things… nonna is a superstar,’ they wrote.
Back in October of last year, Ariana joined forces with her brother Frankie Grande to celebrate Nonna’s 98th birthday.
In 2018, the songstress was awarded the Woman of the Year Award at Billboard’s Women in Music event, and she later revealed that she and her grandmother had gotten matching tattoos to celebrate the honor.
She revealed on social media at the time that Nonna had gotten ‘Ciccio’ inked on her left ring finger as a tribute to her late husband Frank Grande, while the pop star had a moon and stars inked on the top of her left hand.
The Thank U, Next singer even brought along her grandmother to the 2014 MTV VMAs as her plus one.

Streaming listings for the upcoming LP were updated with new artwork that appeared to show Ariana from behind.
She had her long blond hair styled in a high ponytail, revealing a tattoo on the back of her neck, and she rested her head on the shoulder of another blond woman with a ponytail who was standing next to her.
Eternal Sunshine is set for release on March 8, 2024.
