Love Island’s Anton Danyluk revealed on Instagram on Friday that he lost £100,000 in Dubai and ‘slept with a different girl every night’ after his stint on the ITV show.
Scottish-born fitness coach Anton, 30, who first appeared on season five of Love Island in 2019, said he made ‘the biggest mistake of his life’ when he invested in a gym nightclub concept in Dubai shortly after COVID.
He explained: ‘I lost £100,000 in Dubai. Shortly after COVID, I got invited on an influencer trip to Dubai.’
‘As soon as I got there I absolutely fell in love with the place and I never came home.’
Admitting he was seduced by the luxurious lifestyle, Anton confessed that he was ‘living the dream’ at the beginning, however, things quickly went downhill.

He said: ‘I bought myself a Bentley and an apartment on the Palm. I was absolutely living the dream. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.’

‘It took us over a year to launch with us putting loads of money into this concept. On top of that, the day of launch the place flooded.’
‘Myself and my business partner had massive disagreements and it was just an absolute flop.’
‘It was the first time in my life that I’d made a bad business decision and it cost me massively. It sent me into a downward spiral and really put me into a bad place.’
The star also said in hindsight the cost of business and the staff didn’t make things viable and the reality was he was in a ‘new country with different laws and rules.’
Eventually, Anton stepped away from the business and his partner continued with the venture, however, the business closed down a year later.
He also revealed that coming out of Love Island made him the ‘worst version of himself’ and claimed that weirdly COVID had saved him because it made him take a step back.
He explained: ‘I invested £100,000 into a gym concept that was going to be a nightclub gym. Everything that we did went wrong’
He added: ‘Myself and my business partner had massive disagreements and it was just an absolute flop’
He said: ‘Love Island completely changed me. Coming off the show I had my personal appearance tour which saw me in nightclubs night after night making a lot of money to be there.’
‘On top of this, I was sleeping with different women every single night. I became that cocky person again and I was seeking external validation.’
Anton appeared on Love Island All Stars earlier this year and was coupled up with Georgia Harrison, 29.
Despite reaching the final on the show, TV buffs cast doubt over their romance after Georgia said Anton gave her the ‘ick’.
He confessed that the bad business decision sent him into a ‘downward spiral’ and put him into ‘bad place’
He said: ‘Love Island completely changed me. I was sleeping with different women every single night. I became that cocky person again and I was seeking external validation’
And after spending weeks trying to convince the British public that their love was real, the two went their separate ways in April.
An insider told the publication that the two could not make it work and eventually became ‘too much to manage’.
The source told The Sun: ‘Georgia and Anton have split. They really tried hard to make the relationship work but ultimately the distance proved to much to manage.’
The source added: ‘Anton and Georgia are sad they couldn’t make things work, but they broke up on good terms and will definitely stay friends.’
