Angel Reese made a spectacular entrance for her Chicago Sky game against Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever on Saturday morning.

Reese was pictured in a gray ripped hooded dress, with a silver bag and sunglasses, as she made her arrival at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

She needed someone to hold her phone before posing for pictures, and then joked about getting her heels off in the locker room, saying on arrival: ‘Let me get these shoes off – a baddie can’t stay too bad, too long!’

Reese, 22, soon swapped her heels for sneakers as she was out on the court going through her warmups for the game.

Clark, meanwhile, posed for pictures in a blue jumpsuit as she made her way to the court looking to lead her team to their second straight win of the season. Clark would eventually run out victorious over Reese, with her Fever team winning 71-70.

Reese and Clark have driven interest in the WNBA to a new level since the draft earlier this year.

Clark was picked first by the Fever while Reese was the seventh pick and taken by Chicago.

Speaking before the game, Reese paid a glowing tribute to her coach Teresa Weatherspoon.

‘She is like a mom to me, to have a coach that played the game and is now coaching, I just love her so much,’ Reese said. ‘I’ve always had amazing coaches and I am very lucky.

‘I feel like she understands me a lot. I can be hard on myself, I need to give myself grace and she puts confidence in me.’

Speaking about her rivalry with Clark, Reese said: ‘All the rookies have done a great job in elevating and going to the next level, especially Caitlin. All the women deserve this and to be in the moment, I am going to enjoy it.’

Clark and Reese were big rivals at college level – Clark was a star for Iowa while Reese shone at LSU.

Sky go into the game 3-3 for the season, while Clark and the Fever have found things hard going with a 1-8 record.

Chicago won their last game, beating the Los Angeles Sparks 83-73 on Thursday night.

Indiana were beaten 103-88 by Seattle Storm in their last game, also on Thursday, with Clark scoring 20 points in 40 minutes on court.

In a 2023 game between LSU and Iowa, Reese did WWE legend John Cena’s ‘U Can’t See Me’ gesture in front of Clark – which the latter previously made famous in a game against Louisville.

The Tigers star also looked at her college rival and pointed at her ring finger late in the fourth quarter.

And last week, Reese appeared to take a shot at Clark after the Sky beat New York Liberty in the Big Apple.

After the 90-81 win last Thursday night, Reese wrote on X: ‘And that’s on getting a WIN in a packed area not just cause of one player on our charter flight. #SKYTOWN,’ she wrote, with a blowing-a-kiss emoji at the end.

Reese and her Sky team did not have charter flights at the start of the season, but Clark and Indiana did. Reese’s mother later said that the deleted tweet was aimed at the media, not at Clark.
