Alice Hirson, known for acting roles on sitcoms including Full House and Ellen, has died at the age of 95.

Her son David Hirson confirmed the news via The Hollywood Reporter on Friday. 

The veteran actress took her last breath at Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, California, where she’d lived for the past year. 

The cause of death was natural causes.

Hirson made numerous soap opera appearances including starring as Stephanie Martin on The Edge of Night, Marsha Davis on Another World and its spinoff Somerset, and Eileen Siegel on One Life to Live.

Alice also took on roles as Mrs. Van Gelder on General Hospital and Dr. Lisa Helman on Loving. 

In 1980 she was seen on the silver screen as the wife of Robert Webber’s Colonel Thornbush.

And in 1984 she played Gilbert Lowe’s (Anthony Edwards) mother in Revenge of the Nerds. 

She was also in 26 episodes of Dallas between 1982 and 1988.

She played Ellen DeGeneres’ mom, Lois Morgan, on the star’s eponymous television series from 1994-1998.

Hirson would have turned 96 on March 10.
