Jobe Watson has set the date for his upcoming wedding.
The former Essendon football star proposed to his partner Virginia Slaghekke in September last year.
And now the pair are set to walk down the aisle together in March.
‘I am having a combined 40th and bucks party down in Queenstown,’ Watson told the Swanny And Friends podcast.
‘I am getting married in March and my birthday is in February so I thought why not combine the two (40th and bucks) and do it down there.’
The couple, who are parents to three children named Juniper, Wolf, and Lilou, joyfully announced news of their engagement on social media last year, showcasing Virginia’s dazzling engagement ring.
Their love story began when they first crossed paths at a New York café in 2016.
Dutch model Virginia has since moved to to be with Jobe, 39, where they have built a life together.

Jobe, son of the Bombers legend Tim Waston, made his own mark as the captain of the Essendon football club.
The former AFL player was on sabbatical in New York when he met Slaghekke, who was once signed to Donald Trump’s modelling agency.
Watson was one of 34 players suspended after it came to light they had taken the banned substance AOD-9604 in the 2012 AFL season.
He admitted to taking the drug but said he had been informed by the club that the substance was legal.
Watson was suspended from the 2016 season along with other players and was forced to give back his 2012 Brownlow Medal awarded to the best player of the season.

He moved to New York during his suspension where he worked as a barista, and met the now mother of his children.
In 2017, Watson returned to play the AFL season but has since retired from the game, becoming a commentator at Channel Seven.
Meanwhile, Slaghekke has pursued her education, obtaining a degree in biomedical sciences before later delving into clinical psychology.
The soon-to-be-hitched pair now live in Melbourne where Watson now also works in property management.
