Abbie Chatfield has slammed ticket sellers for allegedly informing fans about show cancellations via ‘cold and random’ texts.

The FBoy Island host’s upcoming national Trauma Dump tour has been hit with difficulties over low ticket sales, forcing her to cancel a string of shows.

Abbie, 29, has so far confirmed that she has axed four of the scheduled 13 shows – Ballarat, Port Macquarie, Caloundra, and Cairns, cancelled due to low demand.

Now, Abbie has taken to Instagram to fume over the way the cancellations were allegedly communicated, sharing a screenshot a fan sent of the offending text.

The blunt message read: ‘Hi Courtney Frith. Abbie Chatfield on 08 November 2024 has been cancelled.’

Replying to the fan, Abbie said she ‘felt sick’ over the Ballarat cancellation as she shared her disappointment.

‘I’m so sorry. I feel sick,’ she wrote. ‘I wish I could do all the shows. I was looking forward to Ballarat so much.

She then apologised to her Ballarat and Cairns fans for the latest cancellations, while taking aim at venues and ticket merchants for not better communicating the news to fans.

‘Also, am very confused as to why Ballarat ticket holders merely got a text with no apology or information,’ Abbie wrote in the long post.

‘I don’t have control over specifics of what is communicated from venues or ticket merchants BUT I asked and was told you would receive an email.

‘I was told for the other cancelled shows (cairns and port Mac) there would be an email but now I am doubting that?

Abbie then raged that the lack of communication ‘wasn’t on’ and once again apologised to fans for not being able to make good on the scheduled shows.

‘I think it’s venue to venue having different cancelling systems but figuring that out rn bc I don’t like that at all,’ she went on.

‘Jarring for me to read let alone tyou who support me and were looking forward to the show as I was. It just isn’t on,’ she added.

This is the second time in a year that Abbie has hit the road with the Trauma Dump Tour after a successful series of gigs in 2023.

‘I loved trauma dumping on all of you so much that I had to take the tour regional!!!’ Abbie explained in a post first announcing the upcoming run of shows.

‘Same show as last year, perfected for my regional bbys!… can’t wait to see you all.’

Last year Abbie wowed fans with her frank live chats as she discussed vulnerable stories about her lengthy dating history.

A highlight of the show featured Abbie interacting with her live audience via texts.
