Four American children have gone missing in Mexico just hours after they left a house in Meoqui, Chihuahua.

The siblings, who were born in South Dakota, were reported missing on Saturday, October 28.

Ismael Gómez Herrara Luis Mendoza, 12, Issac Gómez Herrara Luis Mendoza, 12, Madahi Gómez Herrara Luis Mendoza, 12, and Elías Gómez Herrara Luis Mendoza, 9, were last seen at the home on Lázaro Cárdenas Street.

The National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc. posted their pictures on their Facebook page to alert the public of the missing children.

The children have not been seen since and it is unclear where they could be.

Meoqui is about 46 miles southeast of Chihuahua City, and about 283 miles away from the US-Mexico border.

Relatives of the siblings do not know where the children were headed when they left their home, and they weren’t able to identify what each child was wearing.

Another minor also went missing in Meoqui, Chihuahua on Friday. Jaqueline Pando Flores, 14, has not been seen since she left the CBTA 147 school.

It is unknown if Flores is alone or with her father. The Prosecutor’s Office has issued an AMBER alert for her.

AMBER alerts are activated for missing children, whether they’ve been abducted or disappeared. The decision to issue an alert is determined by local law enforcement and state or regional authorities.
