Nova radio star Clint Stanaway shared his frightening health scare with listeners during the Jase & Lauren breakfast show on Tuesday.
Clint, 41, said he thought he may have caught a sexually transmitted disease after experiencing pain while passing urine.
‘I’ve never had an STI before in my life,’ he said during an on-air confession with co-hosts Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins and Lauren Phillips.
Clint said his worries began after he had felt pain in the ‘front region’.
‘I just didn’t know what I was experiencing,’ a distressed Clint said, adding he went into ‘panic mode’.
However, he went onto to reveal that the source for his discomfort was because he had not washed his hands before going to the toilet after consuming chicken hot wings.

‘Oh my god you ate the hot wings and you didn’t wash your hands hands and you touched our s*****g!,’ a shocked Lauren said.
‘I got buffalo s*****g,’ added Clint.
Lauren pressed her co-star for details, asking him whether had experienced ‘blistering’ in his groin area.
‘No, unless I’ve got an STI but you’d have to have the S,’ Clint joked.
The Jase & Lauren team later shared the cringe-inducing segment to their Instagram, along with the caption: ‘From hot wing to hot wangs.’
Fans were quick to message the radio stars, with many offering sympathy for Clint’s ‘scare’.
‘Ohhhh you guys are just soooo funny!!!! Love it!!! Sorry Clint, ouch, but geez you’re a good sport sharing!’ posted one listener.
Added another fan: ‘Buffalo S*****g comedy gold.’

Lauren Phillips and Jase Hawkins attend 2024 ACRA Awards
‘You guys are seriously the best! Always have me in fits of laughter, poor Clint,’ said another fan.
Jase and Lauren recently revealed what they really thought about leaving their old job a year after being dumped by KIIS FM in 2023.
‘We just want to thank everyone for listening to our show,’ Lauren said last November, a year after their controversial sacking.
‘It was one year ago today that we were told no one wanted to listen to us on the radio,’ Lauren said on-air during the segment.
‘We got shafted a year ago to the day,’ added Jase.
The radio stars were blindsided when their Melbourne breakfast show was axed last year to make way for Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s big expansion into the city from Sydney.
‘We love waking up with you in the mornings,’ Lauren continued.
‘It’s been a roller coaster of a year for us. We love being here. This has been the greatest professional year of my life.
‘Thank you to everyone for making this switch and sticking with us. I think a year ago, if you could have told us we would be here right now doing this, our little minds would have exploded. We wouldn’t have believed it,’ she added.
Kyle and Jackie O took their breakfast radio show to Melbourne in April last year in a huge multimillion-dollar expansion deal, which triggered the axing of Jase and Lauren’s KIIS FM breakfast show.
At the time, an unapologetic Kyle said he felt indifferent to his competitors being sacked as it ultimately came down to who was attracting the most listeners.
‘No, I don’t care. That’s why we went for Melbourne, we were like, “We’ve given this Jase and Lauren on KIIS FM a good run, it can’t get over fourth in the radio ratings, so we’ll take it”‘,’ he told news.com.au.
However, Jase and Lauren had the last laugh, with their new show on Nova 100 out-rating The Kyle and Jackie O Show in Melbourne last September.
The comedic chat show took home the coveted number one spot in the 5th radio ratings survey results for 2024 from GFK.
Their success continued in the final radio ratings of 2024 scoring a 9.1 share in December survey.
