Zoe Saldana absolutely stunned on the Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet on Friday afternoon in a silky crimson gown.
Saldana, 46, who is up for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez at this year’s ceremony, worked a glossy dress that cascaded down her statuesque physique while nipping into her slim waist.
The floorlength look was accessorized with a black choker ribbon necklace and finished off with a chic low ponytail.
Zoe’s Emilia Perez co-star Karla Sofia Gascon, who is nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress, looks to be skipping the show as she did not appear to be on the red carpet. She has been embroiled in controversy as of late following the resurfacing of offensive tweets she once posted.
She was already not expected to attend the show in light of the scandal, which has prompted both Netflix and Emilia Perez director Jacques Audiard to publicly distance themselves from her. Recently Zoe said she was ‘disappointed’ the controversy had put a strain on the film.
In total, Emilia Pérez – which is also up for numerous Oscars – has received 10 Critics’ Choice nods, including the two for Zoe and Karla
