St. Vincent shocked fans earlier this week by revealing for the first time that she is now married with a young daughter.

The musician, 42, made the surprise reveal during her emotional Grammy acceptance speech on Sunday after winning Best Rock Song for her hit Broken Man.

She also took home Best Alternative Music Performance and Best Alternative Music Album for her 2024 record, All Born Screaming.

St. Vincent — who’s real name is Annie Clark — thanked her ‘wife Leah’ and their daughter for supporting her as she created her latest album, calling it ‘a labor of love.’

‘Thank you so much. I want to say, to every other nominee in this category,’ the Big Time Nothing singer began. ‘I love you all so much. It’s an honor just to be in the same world where you all exist again.

‘Thank you to my beautiful wife Leah, our beautiful daughter… this record was obviously a labor of love,’ she gushed. ‘Making records is like building a house when you have no floor plans and you don’t know what wood or concrete is.’

In the press room that night, St. Vincent once again brought up her daughter, quipping that she kept her child — whose name and birthdate has not been revealed — ‘under wraps.’

And per The Hollywood Reporter, the star let it slip that her daughter ‘is young, just to be clear, the child is young.’

The day after the awards ceremony, St. Vincent took to Instagram to thank her fans and family.

She also included a photo of herself cozied up to a blonde woman, who many fans believe is the singer’s wife Leah.

St. Vincent also uploaded a vide of herself kissing the same woman on the lips as she rose from her seat to accept her first of three Grammy wins.

The Melting Of The Sun vocalist was previously linked to model Cara Delevingne from late 2014 until the summer of 2016. Delevingne sang parts of the chorus of Pills from St. Vincent’s hit record Masseduction.

She also shared a brief romance with actress Kristen Stewart in 2016 which sent tongues wagging after the pair were spotted out in New York City.

After that, the pair were inseparable. At the time, a source told US Weekly ‘they spent almost every day together after that. It’s been very romantic … Kristen is always whispering closely in her ear and asking her opinion.’

In June of last year, St. Vincent got candid about how she feels her performance and ‘queer’ identity coincide as a musician.

She shared, ‘Every record I’ve ever made has been so personal about what’s going on in my life at any given time. I’m queer.

‘I know how to code-switch. The idea of identity as performance has been very clear to me since I was a child.’

The star went on to deny she puts up false personas for each era that comes with her album cycles.

‘I’m queer, I’m living in multitude,’ she told the outlet.

St. Vincent also reflected on the evolving platform for LGBTQIA+ artists, noting that the music industry had undergone a dramatic transformation since she first emerged in show business in 2006.

While the community had become generally more inclusive, she noted that the experiences of queer artists were vastly different from when she began her career

‘I know there are certain things in the world trending in a scary direction, but all in all, I’d rather live right now than any other time in history,’ she said.

‘We wouldn’t be having this conversation 60 years ago. I would be a nurse, I would be a secretary, or I would be a mother.’
