A woman allegedly addicted to Pepsi Max says she ‘shakes’ if she does not down her favourite soft drink and guzzles at least two litres a day.

Natasha, who has a TikTok following of nearly 10,000, claims she ‘sweats’ when she misses out on the fizzy pop.

The TikToker alleged in a viral video that she has knocked back at least two litres of Pepsi daily for the last four years.

‘I’m not joking, I’m not exaggerating,’ she said in the clip, ‘if you know me in real life you know this to be true.’

She confessed grabbing a can of the fizzy liquid is the first action she takes to kick off her day.

She said: ‘I haven’t even gone to the toilet yet and I’m having a glass of Pepsi. I drink Pepsi Max like I breathe oxygen – disgusting.’

‘I shake and sweat…I get a really bad migraine if I don’t drink Pepsi in 24 hours,’ she added. That should be the wake up call but it is not.’

In the video with 1.3 million views, the content creator was already on her second can of the drink, despite only being sat down to film for 30 minutes.

She raved: ‘I f***ing love Pepsi Max with my whole being. I like how they feel when they go down my throat.’

The 20-year-old divulged that her need for four litres of Pepsi Max was even a habit in sixth form.

She said: ‘When I was in sixth from I used  to do this thing and people thought I was so weird.

‘I used to bring a two-litre bottle of Pepsi into my classes and just put it on the table and I used to just drink out of it.’

Natasha admitted that she never went a single day without Pepsi Max, buying one from the shop on her journey to and from school.

She continued: ‘There was never a day I went to school without a bottle of Pepsi max. If no one is buying Pepsi max – I am dead.’

But the Pepsi fanatic believes this only made her a better and more dependable friend, noting: ‘If you need a drink you know I have got a massive bottle of Pepsi in my bag you can just take.’

People flocked to Natasha’s comments with concerns, with one writing: Bestie that’s an addiction,’ while another was disgusted by her caffeine consumption.

‘A mouth full of Pepsi first thing in the morning is a terrifying thought,’ penned one follower.

Another queried: ‘My only question for people like this is –  do you not always feel bloated?

‘I can’t stand fizzy drinks because of how they make me feel even though I like the taste.’

People flooded the comments, shocked by Natasha's caffeine consumption, whilst others also shared the same love of soft drinks

But not everyone was shocked by the 20-year-old’s revelation, with one adding: ‘I feel less alone because I [drink] about 2 litres a day and also get horrid headaches when I haven’t had any.’

Another commented: ‘I drank that much Pepsi max, when I stopped drinking it 10 years ago, my husband found me in the corner of the room shaking and being sick.

A third Pepsi fan told of a similar experience, stating: ‘I get a headache if I don’t have a Pepsi Max. I NAMED MY CAT PEPSI MAX’

But NHS GP David Nichols has revealed to that Natasha’s soft drink habit could lead to health problems.

The GP from MyHealthChecked said: ‘Drinking large amounts of fizzy drinks can have significant effects on your health, especially when consumed long term.

‘Research has shown that possible side effects of this include weight gain, obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, fatty liver disease and dental problems.

‘For those who have consumed large amounts of fizzy drink for a long time it may be worthwhile arranging a health check to ensure that it has not had any adverse effects on your body.’

He added: ‘Whilst Pepsi-Max is a sugar free drink, lots of fizzy drinks contain large amounts of sugar which is known to also be addictive.’

Dr Nichols explained that soft drinks like Pepsi Max have large quantities of caffeine, adding: ‘It is possible for someone who has been drinking large amounts of a drink such as Pepsi Max to notice symptoms of caffeine withdrawal if they were to suddenly stop, due to caffeine’s addictive nature.

‘This is more commonly seen in people who drink coffee, where people notice symptoms of withdrawal that include headaches, irritability, poor concentration, anxiety and in some rare cases tremors (shaking) when stopping suddenly.’

The GP recommends the public avoid fizzy drinks ‘all together’ and plenty of water and seven to eight hours of sleep a night.
