A grappling match between two males in puffer jackets shows the terrifying moment a teen was stabbed on a London street in broad daylight.
The brawl went down in Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton on January 30 and resulted in a 17-year-old boy being taken to hospital amid a major armed police presence.
A male dressed in black can be seen dismounting from what appears to be an electric bike near a row of shops before he corners the victim outside a house.
He escapes the knifer’s grip and the two tumble out onto the road in front of horrified onlookers where the one repeatedly lashes out at the other.
The victim then hurtles across the road onto a plot of green land where he is followed by the knifer and the attempted stabbing continues.
A Met Police spokesman said the force were called at 11.30am to reports of a stabbing on Green Wrythe Lane.
They added: ‘Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
‘A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab injuries. His condition has now been assessed as non-life threatening or life-changing. Enquiries remain ongoing.’
People have took to the comments section to express their thoughts on the video.
One person said: ‘The UK is becoming frightening due to the rising crime rate and violence on our streets.’
Another added: ‘In broad daylight this is madness! Where’s the deterrent?’
While a third said: ‘I’m devastated no one bothered to help this boy instead of just filming the incident.. so sad.’
