A boy has died after a ute flipped on a rural property in NSW’s west.
Emergency services were called around 7pm on Friday following reports of a crash on a property on Glendara Road, White Cliffs, around 1,000km north-west of Sydney.
Officers attached were told a utility had overturned.
‘The driver, a 16-year-old boy, and a passenger, a 9-year-old boy, were taken to White Cliffs Hospital, however the younger boy was declared deceased on arrival,’ NSW Police said.
The older boy was treated and will be subjected to mandatory testing.
Police have established a crime scene on the property and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
