One seemingly unlikely supporter sat dead center in the audience of Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s Senate confirmation hearing on Wednesday.

In a shaggy beard, wire-rimmed glasses and a forest green ‘Make America Healthy Again’ hat, the man could have been mistaken for an ordinary member of the public – but he, too, is linked to a political dynasty.

Meet the least-known member of uber-progressive, outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s extended family – Justin’s half-brother, Kyle Kemper.

The 41-year-old posted a running commentary of the Kennedy hearing on X, telling his 40,000 followers, ‘It’s a very intense theater. Lots of people,’ before giving a tip of the hat to two well-known right-wing conspiracy theorists.

‘We love you, Roseanne [Barr],’ he said. ‘We love you, Alex Jones.’

Surely some are already familiar with Kemper and his vocal support for RFK Jr and President Donald Trump. But now Daily Mail can reveal more of his colorful backstory… and all the other odd ducks in the Trudeau clan

The Trudeau’s black sheep

Kemper, a dual US-Canadian national, shares a mother, Margaret Trudeau, with his famous Canadian stepsibling.

His father, Ottawa real estate developer Fried Kemper, married Margaret in 1983 after she divorced Justin Trudeau’s father, former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.

Back in April, Kemper called on his Justin Trudeau, 53, who will be stepping down as prime minister this month amid cratering approval ratings, to practice a traditional Hawaiian practice of seeking forgiveness and apologize to the Canadian people.

‘Start with a Ho’oponopono,’ Kemper told podcast host Tucker Carlson. ‘Come clean… repent, if you will and move forward in a good path. Do the best you can, because this is the life that we have to live.’

Kemper also actively campaigned for RFK Jr. during his run as independent presidential candidate, calling him the ‘most qualified person’ for the job.

After Kennedy dropped out of the race, Kemper backed Trump, calling him a ‘genuine person.’

When asked about Kemper’s comments, Trudeau said he loved his half-sibling and always would, before slipping in a jibe.

‘But, you know, I can’t have real conversations with him based on facts and reality,’ said Trudeau, lamenting that many Canadians had ‘gone that way.’

Indeed, Kyle is not Justin’s only relation casting the family in an awkward light.

It’s a wrap, Xaiver

Trudeau’s eldest son, 17-year-old Xavier, debuted the first song in his aspiring rap career on Monday.

In a clip posted to Instagram, Xavier sings ‘we could roll some, we could light one’ in a track titled Til The Nights Done.

An accompanying video shows Xavier walking around Ottawa in a hooded sweatshirt.

Online critics pounced on the track with X user posting: ‘Could we please have a vacation from this f***ing family?’

Defying the naysayers, Ella-Grace, Xavier’s 15-year-old sister, complimented her big brother’s clip, writing, ‘this is fire,’ alongside two fire emojis.

Xavier also has a younger brother named Hadrien, 10.

The children’s mother Sophie Grégoire divorced Justin Trudeau in 2023. And she comes with her own fair share of intrigue.

‘Flexible’ First Lady

The problems in Justin Trudeau’s marriage to Sophie, his wife of 18 years, came to a head when they called time on the union in August 2023.

The couple had long dispelled rumors that their marriage was on the rocks, and Trudeau firmly rejected claims he’d cheated on his wife. But Sophie was evasive when asked by an interviewer in 2015 about infidelity, saying the couple had endured ‘hardship’ in pursuit of ‘authenticity.’

Indeed, authenticity has proven to be a problem for the Trudeaus.

The couple made a point of frequently posting pictures and videos – that many found obnoxious – showing themselves in yoga positions.

During a 2018 trip to New Delhi, India, the Trudeaus dressed their family in lavish traditional Indian costumes, even as their hosts dressed in formal business attire.

Since the split, the former TV star, 49, has spoken of the importance of ‘cutting ties’ and of working hard to ‘not cling to relationships.’ Though, Sophie was reportedly in a relationship with an Ottawa-based pediatric surgeon soon after the separation.

She now teaches yoga and meditation and recently released a memoir, called Closer Together: Knowing Ourselves Loving Each Other.

Mama Activist

Margaret Trudeau had a colorful few years as was breaking up with Justin’s dad, Pierre Trudeau. He served as Canadian Prime Minister from 1968 to 1979 and again from 1980 to 1984.

In her 1982 book Consequences, Margaret admitted to having affairs with actors Jack Nicholson and Ryan O’Neal and singer Lou Rawls, while still married to Pierre.

She also said she became associated with members of the Rolling Stones, top US government officials — and even Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro. That last admission had led to speculation – not the least of which has come from President Donald Trump – that cigar-smoking Castro was actually Justin Trudeau’s father.

To date, the rumors remain just that. But self-declared internet sleuths have pointed to physical similarities between the two world leaders.

The wild theories erupted again after Castro’s eldest son, Fidelito, died by suicide in 2018 and several outlets reported that he had left a note referring to Trudeau as his half-brother.

Progressive darling to disgrace

It once seemed that the charismatic and handsome Canadian leader had the world at his feet.

But this month, he announced he would step down as leader after a rapid decline in his approval ratings — leaving his Liberal Party on track for crushing losses in upcoming elections.

The shift in public opinion is linked to Canada’s limping economy — and Trudeau has accepted responsibility for allowing too many migrants to move to Canada, exacerbating a housing crisis.

Though Trudeau’s critics have long criticized him for being overly ‘smug’ and ‘woke’

At a 2018 town hall event, Trudeau corrected a female audience member after she used the word ‘mankind.’ The Prime Minster gently scolded her and encouraged the use of the ‘more inclusive’ phrase ‘people kind.’

Trudeau also once backed plans to make Canada’s national anthem gender-neutral by cutting out the word ‘sons.’

Finally, Trudeau faced allegations of hypocrisy after it emerged in September 2019 that he had worn ‘blackface’ at least three times when he was younger.

In one snap, he was elaborately costumed as Aladdin for an end-of-year ‘Arabian Nights’ party at a smart private school in British Columbia.
