Molly-Mae Hague has continued to be open about her agonising battle with endometriosis over the years and how it has affected her libido.
The reality star, 25, who is gearing up for the release of her new documentary on Friday, previously explained how it led to a ‘non-existent’ sex life with her ex-fiancé Tommy Fury, also 25, whom she split with in August 2024.
Endometriosis causes tissue similar to the lining of the uterus to grow in different organs around the body.
Tissue build-up can be in minimal but in the most painful severe cases it can cause scarring that fuses organs together because of the time it takes for the cells to leave the body after they thicken during the menstrual cycle.
Detailing the health battle, which she kept a secret while she was in Love Island, Molly-Mae said she was never aware of the issue before Tommy because she wasn’t ever having sex and so put it down to bad period pains.
In her 2022 autobiography, Becoming Molly-Mae, she wrote: ‘Before I was with Tommy, I wasn’t really having sex, so I didn’t really think there were any problems other than my period pains.’

She added: ‘I was suffering horrendous pain – literally feeling like I’d been stabbed in the stomach – just awful. And it was causing me so many issues.
‘Big TMI [too much information]! But my sex life just became non-existent: it was just not part of our relationship.’
Molly-Mae previously spoke about her battle with endometriosis, admitting she thought she would die and has nearly called an ambulance multiple times during her periods.
She explained: ‘Tommy didn’t even used to know what to do with me, he would be looking at me like, “I don’t know what to do.”‘
Molly-Mae revealed, however, that everything changed when she was pregnant with their daughter Bambi, admitting her sex drive went ‘through the roof’.
In contrast, Tommy felt ‘uncomfortable’.
In a vlog with her sister Zoe, Molly-Mae said: ‘One thing I will add, when I was pregnant, my sex drive was through the roof.’
Zoe replied: ‘Oh really?’ as Molly continued: ‘Yeah literally like through the roof.

‘Tommy’s wasn’t – when I was pregnant he found it a bit strange. And that’s fine, some men do,’ to which Zoe confessed: ‘I think I probably would.’
Molly added: ‘Some men are really into it [sex when their partner is pregnant] or some partners will be… Tommy found it quite uncomfortable the thought that Bambi was in there and I was here. It was just a bit weird.’
Zoe said: ‘I think low sex drives in females is a lot more common than you think.
‘Obviously, speak to your partner about it…’ before Molly continued: ‘I remember when I was pregnant and I wanted to have sex all the time and Tommy didn’t I was like, ‘”Oh do you not find me attractive?”
‘But I always say to Tommy if I’m not feeling it, ‘”It’s nothing to do with you it’s a me problem.”‘
After welcoming their daughter, the couple’s sex life remained non-existent, with Molly-Mae admitting that they didn’t have any intimate time together for a year.
She told followers of her YouTube channel: ‘Since having Bambi, so coming up to a year now… Tommy and I haven’t had any proper time together, we have date nights and go to the cinema but I don’t really feel like that counts as proper time as a couple – like adult, intimate, nice quality time together.
‘And I feel like we haven’t done that coming up to a year now.’
