Firefighters are continuing to battle the ferocious wildfires in Los Angeles suburbs, which have devoured buildings and sparked panicked evacuations as hurricane-force winds fueled rapid blaze growth.

‘What’s happening is people take their keys with them as if they’re in a parking lot. This is not a parking lot. We really need people to move their cars,’ the actor, 66, said.

‘If you leave your car behind, leave the key in there so a guy like me can move your car so that these fire trucks can get up there.’

Gutenberg also leapt into action, helping firefighters by moving cars in order to make room for the incoming fire trucks.

‘It’s really important for everybody to band together and don’t worry about your personal property. Just get out.’

Spencer Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag have tragically lost their home Pacific Palisades fire.

Pratt, 41, was captured in photos as he watched the rapidly advancing fire move toward his home.

Luckily, the couple and their two sons were able to safely evacuate earlier in the day before the flames got too close.

However, sources told TMZ the couple are distraught by the staggering loss.

The Hills star documented firefighters’ attempts to contain the blaze with a video posted to his Instagram stories showing an airplane dropping water on a nearby mountain.

He was seen looking somberly at the approaching flames as he stands on a hillside with a group of people, including one person who appeared to be his father.

Pratt brushed his eyes at one point, possibly from irritating smoke or flying debris.

The roar of the winds that have fueled the fires overwhelmed the clip’s audio at times.

One man could be heard urging the others to evacuate immediately, but others sounded unconcerned and laughed amid the advancing flames.

Ben Affleck returned to an unwelcome surprise on Tuesday when he arrived home as a massive wildfire engulfing part of the Los Angeles’ west side was in view.

The 52-year-old A-lister was pictured driving up to the bachelor pad he has been renting in Los Angeles’ tony Pacific Palisades neighborhood since his split from Jennifer Lopez.

He appeared to have a shocked expression on his face as he rolled up with his window down, despite the poor air quality due to the nearby wildfire.

In addition to destroying multiple homes in the upscale neighborhood, the blaze also led to the cancellation of multiple Hollywood premieres, including the event for his ex Jennifer’s latest film Unstoppable.

The This Is Us star, 40, took to her Instagram to share an update with her fans, assuring them she was safe.

The star shares sons August, three, and Oscar, 23 months, as well as daughter Louise Everett, born in September 2024, with husband Taylor Goldsmith, 39.

Moore currently resides in Pasadena, California. Some areas within Pasadena have been under mandatory evacuation orders.

Similarly, Petra Ecclestone and Sam Palmer have fled their Los Angeles mansion with their children.

Palmer, in a series of Instagram stories, showed heavy smoke billowing over the crowded interstate amid evacuations.

‘This is so scary,’ he wrote.

Palmer, from what appears to be a hotel, later updated his fans that the family was ‘safe and sound’ and the ‘house is in gods (sic) hands now’. He added that they are ‘praying for a miracle’.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr’s mother was forced to flee the Palisades, he revealed in a news conference shared on X. He also confirmed that the family home of team staff member Everett Dayton had been lost.

Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick said members of his family were among those in Southern California forced to evacuate their homes on Tuesday.

Before the Lakers took on the Mavericks in Dallas, Redick acknowledged the gravity of the situation affecting his family and neighbors.

‘I just want to acknowledge and send thoughts and prayers to everyone in the Palisades right now,’ Redick said prior to the Lakers’ 118-97 loss to the Mavericks. ‘That´s where I live.

‘Our family, my wife’s family, my wife’s twin sister, they’ve evacuated. I know a lot of people are freaking out right now, including my family. From the sound of things, with the winds coming (Tuesday night), I know a lot of people are scared. So I just want to acknowledge that. Thoughts and prayers for sure, and hope everybody stays safe.’

‘Just evacuated from my home due to wildfires in Los Angeles, please be safe!’ the 19-year-old Vogue rapper – who boasts 7.4M social media followers – announced on her Instagram story.

‘They are saying the fires are spreading football field amounts in seconds.’

Alabama – who’s named after Patricia Arquette’s True Romance character – also wrote: ‘Pray for California.’ The 21-year-old Over You rocker Instastoried a selfie captioned: ‘Just evacuated praying for everyone the fires have affected.’

When the privileged nepo-babies referred to their ‘homes’ it’s likely they meant the 49-year-old Grammy-nominated drummer’s (L, pictured in 2024) $2.8M five-bedroom house in The Oaks of Calabasas.

Alabama and Landon could have also been referring to their stepmother Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s (4-L, pictured December 30) nearby $8.5M six-bedroom mansion in The Estates at The Oaks.

Although it is unclear if Kourtney has evacuated, she did thank firefighters and first responders for their ‘unwavering dedication and courage in face of these devastating fires’.

Numerous buildings were destroyed and nearly 3,000 acres (1,200 hectares) were burned in the upscale Pacific Palisades area between the beach towns of Santa Monica and Malibu, officials said. The area is home to many film and music stars.

Highways were jammed Tuesday night with people fleeing the inferno as plumes of smoke and flames rose in the sky over Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Witnesses reported a number of Palisades homes on fire Tuesday, with flames nearly scorching their cars when people fled the hills of Topanga Canyon as the fire spread from there down to the Pacific Ocean.

Local media reported the fire had also spread north, torching homes near Malibu. Parts of Malibu and Santa Monica are under evacuation orders.

Multiple burn victims were treated after walking toward Duke’s restaurant in Malibu in the evening, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing a fire official.

Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley had earlier told a press conference that more than 25,000 people in 10,000 homes were threatened.

Firefighting aircraft scooped water from the sea to drop it on the flames as they engulfed homes. Bulldozers cleared abandoned vehicles from roads so emergency vehicles could pass, television images showed.

The fire singed some trees on the grounds of the Getty Villa, a museum loaded with priceless works of art, but the collection remained safe largely because nearby bushes had been trimmed as a preventive measure, the museum said.

Before the fire started, the National Weather Service had issued its highest alert for extreme fire conditions for much of Los Angeles County from Tuesday through Thursday.

With low humidity and dry vegetation due to a lack of rain, the conditions were ‘about as bad as it gets in terms of fire weather,’ the service said.

The fires have not been contained by Wednesday and Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency

A fire official told local television station KTLA that several people were injured in the Palisades Fire, some with burns to faces and hands. One female firefighter had suffered a a head injury.

More than 220,000 homes and businesses in Los Angeles county were without power late on Tuesday, data from PowerOutage.us showed.

Governor Newsom said the state had positioned personnel, firetrucks and aircraft elsewhere in Southern California because of the fire danger to the wider region.

The powerful winds changed President Joe Biden’s travel plans, grounding Air Force One in Los Angeles. He had planned to make a short flight inland to the Coachella Valley for a ceremony to create two new national monuments in California.

‘I have offered any federal assistance that is needed to help suppress the terrible Pacific Palisades fire,’ Biden said in a statement.

A federal grant had already been approved to help reimburse the state of California for its fire response, Biden said.
