Daddy’s home!

It’s not every day you spot a homegrown Hollywood star going about their business in your neighbourhood – let alone one with a well-known sexual kink.

But so it was on the Friday before Christmas, yours truly was taking a stroll in North Bondi when I crossed paths with actor Josh Lawson taking his dogs for a walk.

The Mortal Kombat star, 43, who hails from the Gold Coast and is usually based in Los Angeles, was on a morning coffee run. Rumour has it he’s moved to Bondi – an interesting choice for someone whose career keeps him busy in the States.

Back in July, we reported Josh had had a year-long affair with an influencer named Fina whom he’d met in Bali. During their relationship, he introduced Fina to his ‘daddy dom’ fetish – a kind of ‘I’m your daddy, you’re my little plaything’ sort of fantasy that’s becoming increasingly common among big, burly blokes.

All perfectly legal, of course, and after their holiday romance came to an end, the pair stayed in touch and regularly messaged each other and exchanged pictures.

Which was fine – until Fina claims she discovered Josh was also in a long-term relationship with a woman called Rebecca Moore. The plot thickens…

Among the messages were shirtless pictures of Josh in bed professing that their romance was ‘more than a holiday fling’.

He also made regular promises that he would meet Fina again, she alleges, but these plans never came to fruition.

Fina eventually messaged Josh’s girlfriend after realising she had been led on.

Rebecca apparently replied, offering Fina a sympathetic ear while saying Josh’s Bali fling was ‘something he needs for his ego’.

She also claimed she was in Bali too when Fina met Josh and the trip was actually for his birthday. Eek.

‘He gets me to call him daddy too,’ Rebecca allegedly added.

Now based in Bondi with his two dogs, Josh’s relationship status is unclear. If he is single again, get ready, ladies… daddy’s home!

Wedding caps off a nightmare year for footy supercoach

AFL glamour couple Simon Goodwin and Kristine Brookes are set to walk down the aisle one year after getting engaged.

I hear the wedding is expected to be held between Christmas and New Year in a secret location in Indonesia and will be attended by a Who’s Who of the AFL.

So private are the nuptials that the bridal party will comprise only the couple’s children (they have five between them from previous relationships).

The reception will boast a star-studded guest list, including the likes of big wave surfer Mark Visser, Melbourne skipper Max Gawn, celebrity lawyer Rebekah Giles, plus influencer Brooke Hogan and her hotelier husband Myles Pitt.

The pair shared news of their engagement last December with Brooks showing off her show-stopper of an engagement ring on social media.

‘The best present I could have wished for. I can’t wait to spend Christmas with you forever,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Kristine is far from your typical stay-at-home WAG. Her impressive career includes a long tenure as chief of distribution at Zurich Financial Services before she left in late 2020 to join Milford Asset Management as head of n business.

She was previously married to finance whiz Bryce Doherty, who stepped down from investment bank UBS when his second wife made unpublishable accusations about his behaviour in a brutal LinkedIn post.

Simon wed his high school sweetheart Maggie in 2005 and they split in January 2022. They share three teenage children together.

The wedding caps off a tough couple of years for the football coach, who settled out of court with former club president Glen Bartlett who made several false claims about Goodwin’s behaviour.

The allegations were made public in the wake of Goodwin leading the Demons to their drought-breaking premiership in 2021. This year they missed the top eight after back-to-back straight-sets exits from the finals in 2022 and 2023.

Goodwin earlier said of the false allegations: ‘I do not use illicit drugs.

‘I give everything I can to my family and my team in a way that dedicates my life to my football club and to have this play out over three years where my reputation has been caught up in a board room battle.

‘It has been documented over and over and over again in the public and it’s been really hard for myself, my family and enough is enough. I don’t use illicit drugs and I never will.’

And finally… guess who, don’t sue

For weeks I’ve been writing about the latest favourite surgery of the eastern suburbs ladies who lunch: the half facelift.

Or mini facelift, or lower facelift, or partial facelift – whatever you want to call it.

The surgical procedure involves tightening and lifting the skin in the lower face and neck, giving you a subtly more youthful appearance without that full-on facelift look.

It has become so popular that a newly single fashion designer-influencer who you have definitely heard of is also rumoured to have had it done.

Anyway, sources tell me one of the surgeons operating on these ladies is anything but discreet. In fact, this doctor has been blowing his own trumpet at dinner parties, using two well-known media personalities as testimonials.

The only problem is these celebrities haven’t publicly disclosed they’ve had the mini facelift done. And I don’t think they’d be pleased to hear their doc sounding off on their surgical history.

Aside from a plethora of degrees, isn’t discretion plastic surgery 101?
