Using information about the various film locations from IMDB, the vacation rental marketplace then estimated property values of the holiday film homes from sources like Zoopla, Realtor, Zillow and Redfin.
‘Christmas films are filled with enchanting homes that make us wish we could step inside and experience the holiday magic firsthand,’ a spokesperson from FloridaRentals.com wrote.
‘Whether it’s the charming cottages of The Holiday or the grand mansions of Home Alone, these homes are often the centerpiece of the seasonal cheer.’
The spokesperson added that some of the homes are ‘unsurprisingly fictional’ but are ‘within grasp for years-long fans.’
‘While those grand, opulent mansions might be out of reach, there are more modest yet charming homes that are attainable than you think.’
