A Portland woman has died days after she was allegedly shot over a quarrel about loud music playing in her apartment complex.

Susan Henson, a resident of 1300 Southeast Pleasant View Drive in Oregon, had decided to go down to her parking lot and investigate with her boyfriend when she heard loud music at around 3am on December 10.

Once at the scene, she noticed Kuian Kellum, 26, and his girlfriend outside her apartment and began arguing with the pair over the disruption.

Court documents state that Kellum’s girlfriend pushed Henson and tried to get between the two of them to stop the war of words.

However, at some point the victim had allegedly slapped takeout food out of the couple’s hands – inciting a physical altercation.

Henson’s boyfriend also reportedly pepper sprayed Kellum during the argument.

In response, the suspect fired his gun three times towards Henson and her boyfriend ‘from a short distance away.’

Henson was found by responding Gresham police deputies with a shot to her head and other critical injuries.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to injuries a few days later.

While deputies revealed that Henson died on December 16, they have not released the actual date of her death, according to the Oregon Live.

The accused was charged with second-degree attempted murder with a firearm, first-degree assault with a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm, recklessly endangering another person, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Kellum later told officials that he was afraid of the victim and he believed that the victim and her boyfriend were going to ‘pummel him,’ according to court documents.

A court date for him is yet to be set.

This comes months after a McDonald’s worker from Florida has been arrested after she shot at a customer following an argument at the drive-through window.

Chassidy Gardner, 22, of Lakeland, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Polk County jail.

The shooting occurred just after 1am at the branch of McDonald’s on East Memorial Boulevard in Lakeland east of Tampa.

Things kicked off after a customer ‘felt their order was incorrect’ Lakeland Police said in a statement.

Gardner then got into an argument with the customers at the drive-through window.

Surveillance video shows one of the customers sticking their arm through the window and knocking some items onto the floor before throwing cups onto the floor.

That led to Gardner throwing a drink back at them just as they were leaving.

Two of the customers then got out of their car only to throw their own drinks, full of ice, back at Gardner.

But Gardner had brought a gun to work and could be seen pacing around the kitchen area with the weapon in her hand.

At least two other staff members could be seen working in the kitchen, but they appeared to do nothing to discourage Gardner nor tell her to put the gun away.

Gardner was arrested and taken into custody but was released from jail the next day after posting a $15,000 bond.
