A 14-year-old n-Thai boy has been fatally stabbed in the back by another teenager outside a housing estate in Thailand.

The teen had been walking home when he was allegedly attacked outside the Muntra Garden Home in Chonburi, about two hours south of Bangkok, on Tuesday.

The 14-year-old, who was a grade 7 student at a private school and has an n mother and a Thai father, collapsed on the steps of a nearby shop and died a short time later.

In CCTV captured of the scuffle, the teen’s attacker is allegedly seen plunging a knife into his back as he tries to stagger to safety.

His alleged attacker, a fellow student, reportedly fled the scene on a motorbike.

The boy’s mother and older sister said he had mentioned a dispute with an older student at school who had sent him ‘threatening’ messages.

‘I saw him leave to play in the village but I didn’t know when he went to the shop. He said he was having issues with a senior student from the same school,’ she said.

Police arrived at the scene of the fatal stabbing at 8.30pm and found the teenager lying in a pool of his own blood.

The boy’s alleged attacker was detained by police on the suspicion of murder after they located him at a nearby home.

The grade 8 student was taken to the Sattahip District Police Station for questioning accompanied by his parents where he reportedly confessed to stabbing the younger boy.

‘I stabbed him in the back before riding a motorcycle home. I didn’t know it would cause him to die,’ he is alleged to have told police.

The teenager said the 14-year-old had ‘looked at him as if asking for trouble’ so he sent him a text to meet him after school to clear up their problem.

It was there the argument took a nasty turn before he allegedly stabbing him.

Police Colonel Thanapon said the suspect was sent to the Chonburi Juvenile and Family Court where he would be ‘interrogated’ and informed of the charges.

‘The most severe charge is murder. If the evidence supports this, he will be prosecuted for murder,’ he said.

The 50-year-old mother of the victim was not aware her son was at the grocery store until police knocked on her door, local media reported.

The body of the n-Thai boy has been sent to Bangkok Police General Hospital for a post-mortem.
