Kanye West’s fans were up in arms after the rapper returned with a ‘terrible’ new music video for his song bomb, featuring surprise appearances from his and ex-wife Kim Kardashians two daughters.

The clip, which appears to show a chase through a postapocalyptic desert setting, featured appearances from their oldest child North West, 11, and her younger sister Chicago, six.

The song, which is credited to his ¥$ duo with Ty Dolla Sign, was originally released on their critically reviled album Vultures 2, which was released in August.

Fans were on the same page as the critics once they got a look at Ye’s new video for Bomb, and they unleashed on it after Kim — who recently described herself as a ‘single parent’ because of how long the rapper had gone without seeing his children — promoted the video on her Instagram page.

North and Chicago are both pictured driving Mad Max–style vehicles while being chased by cartoonish monsters in the music video

I’s unclear if the two were actually ever in front of a camera, as fans online have pointed out that the video appears to be AI generated, though many commenters who seemingly criticized North and Chicago’s appearances in the video didn’t appear to pick up on that nuance.

Notably, Kanye is only featured in the song and doesn’t make an appearance in the video.

On social media, fans were quick to lambaste both the music video and the song itself, with several commenters blasting Kim and Kanye for putting their daughters in the video, while others commented negatively on the bizarre, nightmarish visuals.

‘Just because you have money doesn’t mean you’re kids have any talent [sic],’ read one comment, though it wasn’t clear if they were referring to North and Chicago’s rapping or acting.

‘This is the kardashian equivalent of putting your kid’s artwork on the fridge,’ joked another person, though it’s unclear if North or Chicago had any creative input on the music video.

‘The nepo baby equivalent to kids performing in their living rooms,’ added another critical fan. ‘But instead of only grandma watching, it’s millions of their parents’ followers.’

One disturbed Instagram user described Bomb as ‘the kind of weird music when you wake up in the middle of the night and forgot to turn off the TV.’

‘I felt Chicago when she said “I like to go to the beach, I like the sun,”‘ another commenter wrote, possibly on a sarcastic note, while one fed-up fan called the music video ‘the dumbest thing.’

One comment declared that ‘Kim is officially Kris Jenner 2.0,’ though Kanye seems the more plausible creative force for his music video.

One poster wrote, ‘I love yall but this song is terrible,’ while another fan joked: ‘Kim said “Lets all get to work.”‘

Both celebrity children were previously connected to the Vultures 2 track thanks to short rap verses they recorded for it.

North has the more substantial verse, which she mostly raps in rudimentary Japanese, while Chicago has an even longer verse in which she raps about how she likes ‘to have fun’ and to ‘go to the beach.’

The vehicles that North and Chicago drive are also a sign that the video was AI generated.

At first, the sisters are seen driving silvery twin vehicles that look like slightly melted Tesla Cybertrucks, but in a later exterior shot they are suddenly driving odd tank-like vehicles with long rows of tires.

Later, they again change into something resembling a gray patchwork muscle car with large tires, though it now only has the standard four.’

The villains’ vehicles aren’t much better, and they seem to shift and shudder in motion.

West doesn’t appear to have spoken about using AI for the video, but it may have been a cost-cutting measure, as the same video would have been prohibitively expensive to shoot using practical effects, and even digital artists who could craft similar — but higher-quality images — would have cost much more than an AI service.

Bomb wasn’t previously released as a single, and the only Vultures 2 song that was released as a single, Slide, stalled out at number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, so there wouldn’t have been a commercial push to create a Bomb video.

Earlier this month, Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian said she felt like a ‘single mother’ because she was ‘basically raising four kids by [herself]’ while chatting with her friend Zoe Winkler.

At the time, it had been nearly 60 days since Kanye had been pictured with any of his children.

Instead, he has mostly been spotted spending time in Japan in recent months, where his current wife Bianca Censori is often by his side.

West was recently sued by his former assistant, the influencer and former OnlyFans star Lauren Pisciotta, after she claimed he raped her at one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ infamous ‘freak off’ parties. West has denied her claims and called them ‘baseless.’

He is also accused in a separate federal lawsuit of ‘gagging’ and choking the America’s Next Top Model alumna Jenn An until she blacked out.
