Travis Kelce is still angry and upset at being robbed last month and is desperate for his stolen Super Bowl jersey to be returned.

The Chiefs star is ramping up his security arrangements with a new alarm system being fitted into the $6million property in Kansas City.

His girlfriend Taylor Swift is set to spend more time at his home through the winter, once her final Eras Tour dates in Canada are wrapped up in December. Kelce is playing all through the holidays for the Chiefs.

According to The Sun, Kelce is still furious that he was targeted by what is believed to be a sophisticated international crime ring.

Describing Kelce as ‘angry’ and ‘very upset’, the publication quoted a source as saying: ‘Travis is going to set a new alarm system not to be a target of a possible burglary as he is doing some work in the house and will have more of Taylor’s stuff in there, too.’

Kelce had a luxury watch taken from him that has since been found in Providence, Rhode Island but it is his jersey from his first Super Bowl triumph, against San Francisco 49ers in 2020, that he is most to eager to have returned.

‘That first Super Bowl shirt is essential from him,’ the source said.

‘It’s a reminder of one of the biggest achievements in his career and life so far, and he hopes to get it back.’

The 35-year-old Kelce also lost $20,000 in cash from his property and $100,000 in jewelry.

The FBI is investigating the burglary, which also saw Kelce’s Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes targeted, and reportedly believe a South American crime ring is responsible.

And cops are convinced that the thieves going after sports stars are part of a wider underworld organization, meaning players have been warned to take extra precautions at their homes.

Burglars are said to have targeted Mahomes’ Belton pad at around midnight on October 6.

Kelce’s home across the border in Kansas was then broken into shortly after on October 7, the day the Chiefs faced the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium with Taylor Swift watching on in the stands.

The crooks are also believed to have swiped jewelry and designer bags belonging to Mahomes’ wife Brittany when they ransacked his property last month.

‘Obviously, it’s frustrating. It’s disappointing,’ Mahomes said about the burglary last week.

‘Obviously something that you don’t want to have happen to really anybody. But obviously yourself.’

Kelce and Mahomes are next in action for the Chiefs on Friday, when they host Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.

At the weekend, the Super Bowl champions narrowly beat Carolina Panthers 30-27 to move to 10-1 for the season.

If other results go Kansas City’s way over the weekend, a victory on Friday could secure their place in the playoffs.
