A 88-year-old dog walker was dragged to her death after a roller skater got caught on her lead.

Behind one of the lady’s their dog can be seen walking behind the pair on a long leash.

Suddenly, Berin races past the women and gets caught in the long lead.

This pull the pensioner off her feet as she is dragged to the ground by the skater.

Her friend and Berin then rush to attend to her as the pet dogs watch on.

Prosecutors told the court that the pensioner suffered severe head injuries when she hit the paved pathway and died later in hospital.

Berin pled guilty to causing death by negligence at a hearing and was sentenced to a year of ‘restricted freedom’.
