Ant and Dec have revealed what happens when it rains in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp as it was battered by horrific thunderstorms.
A storm accompanied by heavy rainfall hit the Jungle this week in what will be the first bad spell of weather faced by the celebrities this series.
And as they sleep rough beneath the trees, the presenting duo have explained how the contestants will be protected.
In a clip shared to TikTok Ant used a bowl of bakes beans and a paper plate to demonstrate.
‘They don’t cover the camp, there is a canopy in the middle. So all the beds are here and then that’s the canopy there,’ he said.

‘Say these beans are the beds, and then there is a canopy, if it rains sideways it comes in from the sides.’
The rain that the celebrities often complain about is less of a problem than it would appear.
There’s actually a retractable canopy 50 ft in the air above the camp, preventing the stars from getting soaked and keeping the campfire lit.
It has been decided over the year that it would be unsafe to leave the celebrities in a rainy jungle without any shelter at all, not to mention make for bad TV.
It is however, not completely weather-proof nor does it cover the whole of camp, while it is said to leak if the rain is too heavy.
A source insisted to The Daily Mail: ‘A lot of the camp is not under shelter — it’s not like the roof at Wimbledon!’
It comes after extreme weather warnings and freak storms were issued last week and were predicted to cause chaos on this year’s show.
ITV insiders revealed concerns ahead of last night’s launch show that the relentless rain would ‘dampen and ultimately ruin’ the series.

Despite sunny weather over the weekend, the wet weather is forecast to continue to ravage ‘s Gold Coast.
During a bout of heavy rainfall, a source close to the show last week told : ‘If the celebrities were in there right now, they would be drowning.
‘That jungle camp cannot cope with this level of rain, everyone keeps checking the weather and it’s really not looking good for this series.
‘And the thing is, when it rains like this it’s not fun for anyone involved. It dampens the mood and ultimately ruins the show.’
