Linda Lusardi has undergone a £3,850 non-surgical face lift and says she looks ’10 years younger’.

The former glamour model admitted she was feeling ‘depressed’ about her ‘jowls’ and wanted to rejuvenate her face and neck.

She said: ‘As I was approaching my 66th birthday I started to feel my face was looking tired and old looking.

‘So when I’d wake up in the morning I would see that my face was sagging. It’s a family trait to get these “chollers”, that’s what we call them, the jowly bits of fatty skin hanging down from the jawline.’

The former Page 3 star decided to have six months of NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments and said she ‘couldn’t believe’ the results.

Linda, who shot to fame as a glamour model in the 80s, said she felt her face and neck were looking ‘saggy’.

‘I could see my jawline softening and I was getting more lines around my eyes and it was just a bit depressing really, and I just thought I needed to get something to make my skin look fresher and brighter,’ she said.

‘Ageing is a process that we all go through but if you can hold it back and have it look natural, then why not?’

With just six months to go till she received her pension, Linda visited aesthetic practitioners, Dr Johanna Ward, at her clinic near Harley Street in London.

She was prescribed a course of six monthly 45-minute NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments.

It’s one of the latest non-surgical procedures and uses super-heated nitrogen gas within the layers of the skin, which tricks your body into creating more collagen and elastin.

Linda explained: ‘I had these NeoGen treatments as a bit of a treat for myself because I was coming up to my 66th birthday.

‘I was excited about getting my pension but not about being 66. I honestly don’t feel 66 inside, and I wanted my skin to match as well.’

‘After having the NeoGen treatments I don’t think most people would think I look 66, I don’t know what I’d get away with but I think it’s taken about 10 years off me.’

Looking at her before and after pictures, Linda was astonished at the positive changes to her face, and she said: ‘When I saw my before and after pictures I couldn’t quite believe it.

‘I didn’t realise quite how bad I was just six months ago. It’s incredible my whole face feels lifted and tightened, my skin has more plumpness to it, it’s just got a better complexion completely.

‘I feel it’s taken years off me and several people have commented saying “how old are you?” and they just don’t believe I’m 66.’

Linda – who shares daughter Lucy, 28, and son Jack, 25, with soap actor husband Samuel Kane – added: ‘I feel that it’s given me a freshness, but subtly, and in a natural way.

‘It’s basically tricking nature into repairing itself, we lose collagen in our skin from such an early age, and especially after the menopause, and I’ll well past that, so mine was down to about 10 per cent of what it used to be in my early 20s by now.’

Linda said she felt like the procedure had ‘taken years off her’

She added that people were shocked when she told them her real age

Linda went on: ‘A lot of people have asked me, “Is it painful?” But if you’ve had the numbing cream on beforehand then, it’s between and 3 and a 6 out of ten, it’s really no more painful than having your eyebrows plucked.’

The former model revealed she had low energy treatments and felt that the effects looked a bit like ‘sunburn’ and there was some ‘crusting and drying’ before the skin went back to normal.

‘My friends and family noticed after just one treatment, and I hadn’t told them I was having NeoGen, it was quite unbelievable,’ she remarked.

‘I’ve now had the full six, and my skin is like a different person, it’s so tight and so plump.

‘The results are completely off the chart and phenomenal so 100 per cent I’m going to keep them up. I’m actually quite terrified at the thought of stopping having them.’
