A retired veteran in Oklahoma said his car was dented and scratched while going through a local car wash, causing as much as $15,000 in damages.
Greg Woods, who has a number of health problems, is a member at Okie Express Car Wash in Mustang, a small town on the outskirts of Oklahoma City.
One day, he went to the car wash, but it was anything but a routine visit.
He said the machines inside began swinging and hitting his red SUV, tearing some of the paneling off.
‘It was just banging on the side of the car, shaking us around,’ Woods told KFOR, describing what allegedly happened once his vehicle was inside. ‘We didn’t know what was going on.’
He said the ‘passenger side is just devastated from bumper to bumper’.

Woods, pictured, was told it would cost as much as $15,000 to fix his car
Woods said he spent a month reaching out to Okie Express hoping to come to a resolution, but he initially received no response.
When he went to see how much getting his car fixed would cost, he was shocked.
‘I got estimates going from $9,000 to $15,000, and that is with insurance, that’s a deducted amount,’ Woods said. ‘I’m like, “Oh man, this is nuts.”‘
That’s when he got local news team KFOR involved.
Reporter Tanner DeLeon visited the car wash in person, only to be told by a manager that he couldn’t give out contact information for his bosses.
KFOR reached out to representatives with Okie Express and received the following statement.

‘At Okie Express Auto Wash, we take customer concerns, as well as the quality and safety of our services, very seriously. We are actively working to resolve this matter and have been in communication with the customer regarding their claim.’
DailyMail.com also reached out to Okie Express for comment.
Meanwhile, Woods said he’s learned his lesson.
‘I like going there and I’ve taken all my vehicles there for years. No more, not me,’ he said.
Woods later told KFOR that the car wash reached out to him and told him they’d cover the cost of the damages.
