‘Public poopers’ who have been shamelessly defecating on the streets of a popular Sydney suburb have been called out by a fed-up dog owner.

Julia Sakr regularly walks her fluffy white dogs through Bondi, in the city’s beachside east, and has recently been sickened by what she’s found.

The Bondi resident said she knows it’s ‘human s***’ because her two dogs ‘make a bee line to it’ and then start eating it ‘like a ‘delicacy’.

‘The amount of times that I’ve had to clean human s*** from their fur – it’s more than the fingers that I have in my two hands,’ she said in a TikTok video.

Ms Sakr said the Bondi poopers were choosing to empty their bowels in gutters, which allows them to use the kerb as a ‘little seat to sit on’.

‘The locations that these turds are in, they’re very ergonomic spots,’ she said.

‘Like they’ve sat down and they’ve conveniently done it.’

Ms Sakr suspected it was early-morning joggers who were responsible, as it must be done at at time when there is no-one around to see, and the urge must come on suddenly given the evident lack of planning.

‘What I want to know is why are there so many s****ers in Bondi?’ she said.

‘It’s a serious question. Is everyone so healthy and they go on runs and they need to do a s*** so they just do it where they are?

‘Secondly, if that’s the case, are you just walking around with s*** between your butt cheeks?

‘You haven’t even wiped and you obviously you haven’t washed your bum either.’

Several commenters under Ms Sakr’s videos claimed to have busted runners pooping before, with one calling for them to carry ‘jogger s*** bags’ like dog owners have to do.

‘I have caught two people in Bondi doing this, both were runners,’ one said.

‘The urge can come on powerfully and without warning when running. I get the same thing on the elliptical but fortunately it’s at home, three metres from the toilet,’ another wrote.

‘I promise you this has always been a Bondi thing, even when I was a kid. [It’s] why I left Bondi an adult,’ another said.

‘Must be all the early morning fitness freaks. There’s no shops open and no public toilets,’ another wrote.

Public pooping is not a new phenomenon in Sydney.

Daily Mail previously exposed a gang of ‘poo joggers’ who had no qualms about relieving themselves in public locations during a run.

At the time, clinical psychologist Dr Grant Brecht revealed some offenders may find public defecation ‘thrilling’ while others could be suffering mental health or stomach issues.

Public defecation and urination is classed as offensive conduct in NSW.

People caught relieving themselves in a public space could receive a maximum penalty of three months in jail and/or a fine of $660.

Police also have the power to issues on-the-spot fines.
