Kamala Harris was forced, once again, to defend the fact that she doesn’t have any biological children during her interview on the often-raunchy, female-focused podcast Call Her Daddy.

Speaking with host Alex Cooper, Harris hit back at Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders who said the vice president doesn’t have anything to keep her ‘humble’ because she doesn’t have children of her own.

‘This is not the 1950s anymore,’ said Harris, who has two step children through husband Doug Emhoff. ‘Families come in all kinds of forms.’

‘I don’t think she understands that there are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble,’ Harris added. ‘Two, a whole lot of women out here who have a lot of love in their life, family in their life, and children in their life.’

Harris, 59, has faced a slew of criticism from conservatives and advocates of ‘traditional families’ and has been at the center of the controversy over the ‘childless cat lady’ comments made by Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. Vance years ago.

The VP's family has come to her defense, with even Second Gentleman Emhoff's ex-wife claiming Harris stepped-up to help raise her two children Ella, 25, and Cole, 30.

And even Trump's 2024 Senior Advisor Bryan Lanza expressed his outrage at Sanders' 'offensive' comments.

'I'm disappointed in Sarah for saying that. I'm sure I'm going to get criticism from the campaign,' he told CNN the morning after the remarks were made.

Cooper asked Harris in the podcast episode on Sunday about Gov. Sanders' attack, which was made on stage ahead of a town hall with former President Donald Trump.

'I think it's really important for women to lift each other up,' Harris said as she spoke warmly about her blended, 'modern family.'

Sanders, who served as one of Trump's White House press secretaries, said during her event in the swing state of Michigan last month: 'The most important job I have; the greatest title I have is that of being a mom.'

'My kids serve as a permanent reminder of everything that is at stake in the country,' said the mother-of-three.

'Not only do my kids serve as a permanent reminder of what is important, they keep me humble,' Sanders went on. 'My kids keep me humble.'

'Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn't have anything keeping her humble,' she concluded.

Harris' childlessness has come to the center of discussion in the 2024 presidential race after she took over for President Joe Biden on July 21.

Sen. Vance's years-old comments from an interview with Tucker Carlson have been weaponized by Democrats who insist it is proof that the GOP doesn't want women not to have children.

Even pop icon Taylor Swift waded into the political waters last month when she endorsed Harris and signed her statement on Instagram as a 'childless cat lady.'

In a 2021 Fox News interview, Vance said that the country was being run by 'a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.'

Harris called those comments 'mean and mean-spirited' in her interview with Cooper.

Call Her Daddy is the most-listened to and most-downloaded podcast by women. The genre is described as covering the topics of 'human sexuality, sexual relationship, interview and New York City culture.'
