Supporters of former President Donald Trump ridiculed the partisan hosts of The View for their fawning interview of President Joe Biden on Wednesday, but were enraged by their discussion about the former president as a ‘bug’ and were disgusted by their comparison of Biden to that of President George Washington.

Host Whoopie Goldberg angered Republican viewers after she referred to Trump as a ‘bug,’ buzzing around her head which prompted Biden to slam the table as if he was squashing a bug.

‘Slap him down,’ Joe Behar said gleefully.

The Trump campaign featured the clip on social media, asserting that ‘Democrats are the party of violence.’

‘Two assassination attempts on his life isn’t enough for these sick people,’ wrote conservative media host Toni Lahren.

‘Is this incitement to violence? Just imagine if Trump did this,’ wrote Chaya Raichik of the popular ‘Libs of TikTok’ account.

Others mocked host Sunny Houston for comparing Biden to America’s first president George Washington, when she suggested he would be ‘etched into the history books as Washington.’

‘Sub-40% approval rating Joe Biden is George Washington. That’s how deranged these people are,’ wrote X user Johnny Maga.

 ‘Delusional,’ added Ian Miles Cheong.

‘These people are truly scum,’ wrote user Joe Wallin.

‘Yes, it will. As the worst President in the history of the country,’ wrote Kelly Leak. ‘He makes Jimmy Carter look like George Washington.’

Biden was warmly welcomed by the hosts who praised his legacy and his decision to step away from his reelection.

But Goldberg told Biden she was not happy about how the process.

‘I didn’t like the way they did it. I’m going to just say it out loud because nobody says it out loud. I didn’t like the way it was done publicly. I thought they could have done this in a different way because we didn’t need to hear all the inner-fighting,’ she said.

Goldberg said she fully supported Biden for reelection before he stepped away from his campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

‘I’m saying it to you. You were my ride or die. I was going — wherever you were going, that’s where I was going,’ she said.
