Republicans are outraged at the Biden-Harris administration for ignoring an escalating security crisis at the southern border after rocket-propelled grenades and explosives were found near Arizona.
A bombshell report indicated that at least 4 rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and 8 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were discovered in Mexico close to the U.S.-Mexico border.
Huge amounts of ammunition were also found in the ‘scout site’ that was around 700 feet from the border wall in Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector, according to an internal memo first reported by NewsNation.
Now, Republicans are once again blaming the White House for the ‘dangerous’ conditions at the barrier and the ‘drastic escalation’ in deadly weaponry discovered at the migrant crossing area.
‘Under President Biden and his ‘border czar,’ Vice President Harris, the cartels have raked in profits like never before,’ House Homeland Chairman Mark Green, R-Tenn., told DailyMail.com in an exclusive statement.

‘They have expanded their operations far beyond just drug trafficking, and are now bringing in tens of billions of dollars per year in human smuggling.’
‘Because of their refusal to secure the border, Biden and Harris have presented the cartels with a favorable business opportunity, and these organizations have taken full advantage. And now those blood-bought dollars are being funneled into further destabilizing not just Mexico, but communities along the Southwest border and throughout our country.’
Another GOP member of the Homeland Security panel Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., also expressed his frustration to DailyMail.com.
‘The Biden-Harris Administration has turned a blind eye to the dangerous, violent international cartels that have been given a pass by the socialist Lopez-Obrador government to operate along the Southern Border,’ Gimenez wrote in a statement.
He also disclosed how he ‘supports the Authorized Use of Military Force to strategically target these organized crime rings along the U.S.-Mexico border.’
‘If the Mexican government will not address this crisis, the U.S. must to defend American citizens,’ he said.

Recent reports indicate that Mexican cartels have been increasing their firepower as gang-related conflicts continue to roil the Central American country.
In addition to the RPGs and IEDs, cartels have been known to acquire high-powered assault and sniper rifles from the U.S. to use in operations in Mexico.
One threatening report from USA Today in June even highlighted how the Sinaloa Cartel operates Javelin infrared laser-guided missile launchers.
That weapon system has been widely used in the Ukraine-Russia war and is specifically designed to take out armored vehicles like tanks.
Arizona Republicans also expressed acute concern over the reports of RPGs and IEDs along the wall.

‘This is the first the Congressman has heard of these reports, yet it is unsurprising. In the last three and a half years, the disastrous policies of the Biden-Harris administration have emboldened cartels and put border communities at risk,’ a spokesperson for Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., the member representing the Tucson Sector, told DailyMail.com.
‘The Tucson Sector has been ground zero for bad actors for years, and this is just the latest example of why we must prioritize border security and protect our communities.’
Arizona Republican Rep. Debbie Lesko was shocked by the ‘terrifying’ report, she told DailyMai.com Tuesday, saying that even gang members are fleeing the violence by crossing into the U.S.
‘Cartel members are fleeing from other cartel members into the United States.’
‘This is just another example of how Kamala Harris, who was put in charge of the border, has failed to secure our border, and how Biden and her want these open border policies that are harming Americans.’

And the federal agents she has spoken to say they have been tied up with paper working relating to new migrant arrivals.
‘I talk to the border patrol people all the time, and they’re so busy processing people, getting them into the country, they have very few border patrol officers that are actually on the border, guarding the border.’
‘So who knows who’s all coming across these cartels with RPGs, IEDs, this is really a national security threat and I’ve been saying that for years now, and Biden and Harris don’t seem to care.’
