As the first live show of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing draws ever closer, Tasha Ghouri is feeling the excitement.
On Wednesday, the model, 26, shared a video of herself and her pro dance partner, Aljaz Skorjanec, 34, in their penultimate rehearsal before performing live on TV.
‘Woo team Altash!’ Tasha said in the video. ‘I’m so excited for Saturday – it’s going to be amazing.’
The pair will be performing their first dance of the new series together on Saturday night along with fifteen other competing couples.
‘Tomorrow’s the last day of rehearsals before we’re in the studio on Friday!! These two weeks are flying by but we can’t wait to be on that floor,’ Tasha wrote.

The former Love Island star posted some studio mirror selfies together with Aljaz ahead of the first live show of this series of Strictly
In a break between rehearsals, Tasha’s boyfriend Andrew Le Page, 29, came to visit her in support.
Aljaz’s wife and former Strictly professional dancer Janette Manrara, 40, also came along with their baby Lyra.
Tasha shared a photo of herself holding Lyra and giving her a cuddle.
The model, who wears a cochlear implant, is the second deaf contestant on the show after Rose Ayling-Ellis, who won with her partner Giovanni Pernice in 2021.
Pernice will not be returning as a professional this year following the bullying claims levelled against him by his celebrity partner of the 2023 series, Amanda Abington. Pernice denies the claims.
Tasha met Andrew on the 8th series of hit dating reality show Love Island in 2022 on which they came fourth place.
In February the couple became homeowners and they are documenting their home renovation on Instagram.
Aljaz and Janette met in 2010 while performing in live dance show Burn The Floor.
‘I was attracted to Janette as soon as we met. I think it was because she was so hard to approach which triggered something to make me try even harder!’ Aljaz told the BBC.
They married in 2017 in three beautiful wedding ceremonies, held in London, Slovenia, and Miami.
Lyra was born on 28 July 2023 at London’s Portland Hospital, weighing 7lb 7oz.
