Residents of a small Florida community have been left up in arms over a suspected drug house that they say law enforcement cannot control.

Angry locals in Silver Springs reached out to local outlet News 6 due to being plagued with problems from the home at all hours of the day.

Beth Campbell told the outlet: ‘We see people coming in and out of our neighborhood, all hours of the day and all hours of the night in their vehicles.

‘We see them riding their bikes back and forth. We have them walking down our streets stumbling and falling in the streets because they are so high on something.’

Campbell isn’t the only one with concerns with the comings and goings on at the house, with the outlet also talking to other residents.

She added: ‘It’s just mind boggling, trying to go to sleep and then somebody’s banging on your house. You worry – is someone in trouble? Can I help?’

While Timothy Santrock said that drugs are not the only crime, and that theft has risen in the area.

He said: ‘I’ve had hitches stolen from my vehicle. I’ve had a generator stolen out from under my house.

‘If it ain’t nailed down, they will steal it. Nothing is safe in this neighborhood.’

Campbell added that she was scared to even let her grandchildren outside in her yard due to the activity.

She said: ‘ We have our kids and grandkids frequent a lot, and we’re afraid to have them out in our yards.’
