Jacqueline Jossa has made her first public appearance since she and her husband Dan Osborne were left terrified by a raid at their holiday villa in Marbella.

The EastEnders actress, 31, and her husband Dan Osbourne, 33, and their daughters Ella, nine and Mia and Dan’s son Teddy, 10, were staying in Marbella when the robbery took place in their villa.

But following the terrifying ordeal, which took place last month, Jacqueline has made a solo appearance on the red carpet at the 2024 National Television Awards.

The soap star opted for a stylish red halterneck gown as she arrived on the red carpet with her co-star Kitty Castledine.

Jacqueline flashed a hint of her toned pins in a glamorous thigh-split gown, with her brunette tresses styled into loose waves.

Earlier this month, Jacqueline broke her silence about the raid on her villa, which left herself and Dan terrified.

Jacqueline awoke to discover two masked men in their accomodation in the early hours of the morning, before discovering what was missing when they ran off.

The soap star insisted in an interview with the Sun on Sunday that she only cares about the sentimental items which were stolen from them.

This included her engagement ring from Dan, which cost £7,000 ten years ago, and the tooth fairy money they had given their daughter Ella on the holiday.

Sharing her anger, she said: ‘I get fuming about what they took from the kids – Mia’s little purse. It makes me so sad honestly, more sad than anything else. She lost a tooth, so she had some money in her purse from the tooth fairy. Her bag was all open, and the money had even been taken out of her purse. Bless her.’

Of her snatched jewellery, Jacqueline said: ‘Dan had saved for months and months about ten years ago for that ring, and that was really important to me.

‘That’s the thing I’m most upset about that’s gone because I feel like we all know that me and Dan have been through lots of ups and downs, but I really feel like the ring was the thing that was always a part of our relationship. So I’m gutted that’s gone. But again, I’m just glad it wasn’t a kid.’

The soap star and Dan have chosen not to reveal the truth to their young family and instead replaced the money stolen from Mia, with the youngster oblivious about what happened with her tooth fairy cash.

During the interview, Jacqueline has recalled the heart-stopping moment she thought her children had been kidnapped as she stumbled across the thieves in the middle of the night.

The star went onto say that after realising they were being robbed, she immediately woke her husband Dan, who ran downstairs and grabbed snooker cue to protect his family.

However, the thieves had already ran off after spotting Jacqueline and escaped through the back door before being driven off in a waiting getaway car.

This year’s National Television Awards are taking place at their usual stomping ground at The O2 London in Peninsula Square and will broadcast live from 8pm on ITV.

The NTAs have been at the O2 every year since 2010, with the exception of the rescheduled 2022 bash in Wembley.

Comedian Joel Dommett will host the awards ceremony for the fourth time.

Meanwhile Jungle King Sam Thompson and his pal Pete Wicks will be presenting from the red carpet for the first time this year.

It’s been rumoured that Holly Willoughby will also make a return to British screens as part of Joel’s presenting team.

The former This Morning presenter, 43, looks set to reunite with her old co-stars after she quit the daytime show in October after 14 years as co-host.

Her departure came following the uncovering of a kidnap and murder plot against her by security guard Gavin Plumb – who has since received a jail sentence for the plot.

In an interesting turn, Holly’s This Morning successors Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have been snubbed an NTA nomination for Best TV Presenter category.

Hosted for the fourth time by Joel Dommett, the National Television Awards will be held at The 02 London and broadcast live on ITV and ITVX at 8pm (Joel at the 2023 ceremony)

While the show itself is up for an award in the Daytime category, Cat, 47, and Ben, 49, have shortly missed out – despite getting pulled in by ITV bosses in March after Holly and Phillip Schofield left the programme.

Their fan-favourite co-host Alison Hammond, 49, has thrown them out the Best TV Presenter category after securing a nomination once again.

Last year, This Morning missed out on the Best Daytime TV award for the first time in 12 years.

Alison is up against Bradley Walsh, Claudia Winkleman, Stacey Solomon and Ant and Dec – who have won it for the past 22 years – in the TV presenter category.

Elsewhere, Michelle Keegan scored an impressive award show hat trick, after being nominated for three awards, including a Best Drama Performance nod for her record-breaking series Fool Me Once.

The Coronation Street actress fronted the Netflix adaptation of Harlan Coben’s mystery novel in January.

Michelle has received a nod for her performance as military wife Maya Stern – who is grieving her murdered husband when she spots him on a nanny cam in her home.

The series has also received a nomination in the New Drama category, while Brassic – in which Michelle plays Erin Croft – has been nominated for Best Comedy.

Fool Me Once became one of Netflix’s biggest ever hits with over 100million views – and kicked Michelle’s drama career into gear.

The soap star has been nominated for four NTAs previously, three for Coronation Street and one for BBC’s Our Girl.

Toby Jones also receives a nod in the drama performance category for his role as former subpostmaster Sir Alan Bates, one of more than 550 claimants who have brought legal action against the Post Office.

The ITV drama will face tough competition from Netflix hit Baby Reindeer, romantic drama One Day and Fool Me Once and Red Eye for the prize.

Meanwhile, Jones will go up against actress Jessica Gunning, who has also been nominated for the drama performance gong for her role as Martha Scott in dark comedy thriller Baby Reindeer, in which her character stalks comedian Donny Dunn after he offers her a free cup of tea in the pub where he works.

While Claudia Winkleman – whose other show The Traitors is nominated for Reality Competition – is listed in the TV presenter field, she will have to overcome a tough challenge from the likes of Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh, Stacey Solomon, and longtime winners Ant and Dec.

The Geordie Duo have won the award 22 times now, and they’ll be chasing their record 23rd victory.

They could also claim a win with the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, as Saturday Night Takeaway is up against I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – another of their shows – along with The Graham Norton Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and The Masked Singer.

Joining BBC megahit The Traitors are The Apprentice, Celebrity Big Brother, Love Island and Race Across The World in the Reality Competition Category.

Elsewhere, in the Serial Drama Performance category, Coronation Street’s Peter Ash is nominated for his role as Paul Foreman, who has faced a devastating battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

He will be up against EastEnders’ Angela Wynter, Coronation Street’s David Neilson, EastEnders’ Diane Parish and Emmerdale star  Eden Taylor-Draper.

Former England football captain David Beckham and pop star Robbie Williams are also shortlisted for NTAs in the Authored Documentary category for their Netflix docuseries, as well as actress Rose Ayling-Ellis for her documentary which explores attitudes to the deaf community, and comedian Rhod Gilbert, for his, which explores his cancer treatment.

The shows will go head-to-head with Kate Garraway, who has been nominated for a third time in the Authored Documentary category, for Derek’s Story, which followed the final year of her late husband’s life before he passed away in January.

With more masters of their crafts on TV than ever before, the NTAs is reintroducing the Expert category.

Strictly Judge Anton Du Beke is up for the award in the year that the celebrity dance show celebrates its 20th anniversary – his three fellow judges were longlisted for the award.

The dance show appears to finally be emerging from a string of scandals that have engulfed the show in recent months.

The upcoming 20th series was thrown into chaos when professional dancers Graziano Di Prima and Giovanni Pernice were accused of abusive behavior by celebrity partners, with a verdict on an investigation into the latter expected to be announced within days.

And while the claims sparked fears that the upcoming series would struggled to recover, it appears that Strictly is beginning to shake off the scandals.

The show has been nominated in the Talent Show category and Anton received an Expert nod.
