A man who drove into a family’s home after suffering a seizure begged them for forgiveness after being let out of hospital.

The man, known only as Rudy, appeared at the home of Kristen Appell in Spring Hill, Florida, on Monday to apologize after his black Lexus careered into the home.

The whole interaction was caught on camera as local news channel WFLA were at the scene when the man turned up.

In the clip, the man goes down on his knees and tells Appell that doctors said he had suffered a minor seizure, causing him to crash into the home.

He can be heard saying: ‘I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to run into your house. I had a seizure.’

Rudy, who according to the outlet was wearing a hospital intake bracelet and bandage, added that it ‘came out of nowhere’ and he hadn’t had a seizure in years.

Appell can be heard saying: ‘What happened? You should not have been driving, you shouldn’t have been driving.’

After the cameras stopped rolling, the outlet said that he told them he would make it all right for the family and that he lived just down the street.

Appell later told the outlet: ‘I feel bad for him, but again, having seizures, you should not be on the road.

‘Regardless, getting cleared three years ago. He could have killed somebody on the road, somebody walking, it could have been anything.’

On the crash, she said: ‘All of the sudden I heard a big explosion. I came running out, I had seen the car in the living room.’

According to Appell, her husband and son had left just a few minutes before to go to the school bus stop, if they hadn’t the car may have hit them.

Due to the damage, the home’s structural integrity has to be evaluated before the family can return with it being roped off after the car was removed.

It comes after a Tesla Cybertruck was caught on camera speeding out of control down a driveway before smashing into a neighbor’s home in June.

The $109,000 vehicle had only been in the possession of its new owner for just four hours when the vehicle’s brakes appeared to malfunction.

Surveillance footage sees the distinctive-looking vehicle speeding down the driveway before the screeching of tires can be heard as it rounds a bend.

A huge thud can then be heard as the vehicle comes to a halt having plowed straight into the side of a neighbors home.
