Ferne McCann posed for a sweet breastfeeding clip with her daughter Finty on Monday.

The former TOWIE star, 33, welcomed Finty with her fiancé Lorri Haines last July and was previously raising her six-year-old daughter Sunday as a single parent.

Sharing the clip to her 2.9million followers, the reality star donned a plunging white halterneck dress and strappy white sandals.

She swept her short brown hair into a half up-half down do’ that she secured with a pretty claw clip and accessorised with minimal jewellery and soft make-up.

Ferne was spotted perched on the edge of a water fountain in a peaceful courtyard as she breastfed her little girl who was dressed in a white strawberry print outfit and was snuggled up in the arms of her doting mother.

She said that it had taken ‘a whole football team’ for her to reach the point she was at now and revealed her pride at breastfeeding her baby girl.

Ferne, who is an advocate for breastfeeding, praised her ‘supportive partner’ Lorri and her mother for helping her out and the online community she had turned to when she had been struggling.

In the full caption she wrote: ‘The subject of this year’s World Breastfeeding Campaign, ‘Closing the Gap and Support for All,’ has made me realise that I wouldn’t be where I am with my breastfeeding journey if it weren’t for the support from others. It has taken a whole football team to reach the point where we are now.

Lack of support is one of the main reasons why mothers don’t continue. It’s vital! I know I wouldn’t still be breastfeeding Finty or even have gotten past the first few difficult months without these people. So today, I wanted to recognise all the people who supported us.

‘From the osteopath who did cranial therapy on Finty to loosen her jaw and help improve her latch, to the lactation consultant who helped me with Finty’s latch when she was born, to the incredible community midwives who want all mothers to succeed and make no question seem too silly to ask.

‘To my mum, who has been there for us through everything, nothing is ever too much. Having a supportive partner who understands how much breastfeeding means to me and, in those difficult times and long nights, encourages me to keep going. And to the amazing breastfeeding community online and on social media, thank you.

‘It’s never plain sailing when posting about breastfeeding. I understand it can upset some people, and please know that my intentions are never to make mothers feel inadequate or that they’ve failed. I salute every mother as I know it’s the toughest job in the world. It’s only ever to encourage, inspire, and show support for the breastfeeding community.

Because that’s what it’s all about: supporting one another.’

Her heartfelt post comes just days after she celebrated her daughter’s first birthday on Saturday with an adorable video of her little one.

Taking to Instagram, Ferne shared a compilation of videos from Finty’s life so far, from her swimming, walking and plenty of cuddles.

She included sweet moments of Sunday with her baby sister, as well as her mum Gill, who fans know well from Ferne’s reality series First Time Mum.

Captioning the video she wrote: ‘Happy 1st Birthday to our real life cherub who is so gentle and calm.

‘Finty, Our sweet sweet girl. Our little foodie, book worm always with a smile on your face. You’re soul is nothing but pure love and joy.

‘We cherish you so very much baby, time to celebrate you…’ alongside a cancer star sign emoji.

Ferne’s latest post detailing her struggles with breastfeeding follows a post from back in February.

The campigner offered fans and followers support in their breastfeeding journey and lamented the low breastfeeding rates in the UK.

Ferne referenced statistics that the UK has one of the lowest breastfeeding rates in the world and urged her followers to seek support, even offering up her inbox for followers looking for help with their own breastfeeding journey.

She wrote: ‘Breast feeding isn’t an option for some mums (and it is such a personal decision!), but it’s really sad to know that one of the biggest hurdles for mums wanting to give it a try is lack of support.’
