An influencer has shared a video of the shocking moment her daughter rang emergency services and told them that her ‘mum had died’.

Melbourne-based Iva Marra took to Instagram on Wednesday to share footage from when her child Milana, six, was caught on camera sneakily calling 000.

In the throwback video, Milana is seen sitting at home with her brother Stefan, four, who holds the phone up to his ear, before his older sister takes it out of his hand.

She is then heard saying: ’10:45. My mum died. My mum died.’

Looking down at the phone, she immediately asks: ‘Can I hang up? I have a meeting,’ before abruptly ending the call.

The footage then flashes to Iva later confronting Milana, asking her who she had been on the phone to and what she had said.

After confirming she had told the ambulance that her mum had died, Milana starts crying as she explains she wanted to learn how to a be a doctor.

She tearfully says: ‘I wanted to learn about police and what they do, I mean doctors, because how will I know to be a doctor? I won’t know how to be a doctor when I grow up!’

Sharing the clip to Instagram, Iva warned fans not to let Milana’s ‘crocodile tears’ fool them as she reflected on the awkward phone call mishap.

The Yummy Mummies star, who shares her kids with her husband Steven Joe Marra, said it was an old video as she ‘took a trip down memory lane’ to re-share the gaffe.

The footage divided fans in the comments as some were shocked she had wasted the ambulance service’s time and wanted to know whether they were called out.

One wrote: ‘Oh dear someone needs to learn about the importance of the emergency services and the seriousness of making prank calls and wasting their time .. I think she was literally just playing and was curious.. but it’s still not right.’

‘Poor you @iva.marra I hope she learned her lesson,’ another said.

When one fan asked what had happened next, Iva said she had ‘yelled’ and reassured them that Milana has never tried to call 000 as a prank again since.

Many fans also flocked to Iva’s defence as they saw the humour in the situation and assured her that it is common for children to try and call the emergency services.

One wrote: ‘She deserves an Oscar for the theatrical response she gave to you,’ while another said: ‘I mean the initiative to learn to become a doctor is there! Girls reporting deaths and setting up meetings, She got the skills.’

‘Forget the haters. She isn’t the first child and she definitely won’t be the last child to ring 000. She now knows what 000 is for and I’m sure she won’t do it again,’ a third penned.

A fourth detailed: ‘Lost count how many times I called emergency services on the one night as a kid at least she had the confidence to have conversation with them. All I did was call and hang up repeatedly. Kids.’

And another joked: ’21st birthday footage lol or maybe graduating from medical school footage!!’
