But it appears even Rihanna’s fame has its limits as a young boy failed to recognise her when she met Man City ace Jack Grealish in New York on Tuesday.
The billionaire singer, 36, was in the Big Apple to watch Man City’s preseason loss to A C Milan and posed with Jack and A C Milan’s Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah.
But one fan who was also in the room then approached Rihanna and, seemingly not recognising her, asked her to take a photo of him with the footballers.
Rihanna happily obliged and sat down on a nearby chair in order to take the perfect snap of the boy with his idols.

A clip of the heartwarming moment was shared on social media with many X/Twitter users jokingly remarking on the fact the boy didn’t appear to recognise Rihanna.
Many suggested it was down to the fact the singer has not released an album since 2016 and has been focused more on her business-related ventures in recent years.
Users wrote: ‘The younger generation doesn’t recognise Rihanna anymore and it’s all her fault.’
‘That lady hasn’t made an album in almost 10 years. These kids look 8-9. They don’t know nothing about that’.
‘She needs to drop that album and reclaim her throne’… ‘She better put new music out tomorrow!’… ‘Rihanna is such a gracious queen’.
‘I promise you she’s not bothered. From the little bit that I know about her, I bet she absolutely loved getting the opportunity to take some photos for these kids.’
Meeting Rihanna would have been very exciting for Jack however as he previously confessed in 2019 she was his celebrity crush.
Jack, who played for Aston Villa at the time, said in an interview Rihanna was the celebrity he would most like to meet because ‘she’s pretty and I like her music’.

The footballer shared the photo of himself and Rihanna to his Instagram and wrote: ‘A few days in the Big Apple.. Now to Orlando’.
Jack is currently expecting his first child with his girlfriend Sasha Attwood who is thought to be five months pregnant.
Sasha and Jack are childhood sweethearts and met when they were 16-years-old.
The sportsman shared a picture of himself holding Sasha’s growing baby bump to break the news.
‘Life’s biggest blessing,’ the winger captioned the post, while Sasha wrote: ‘Half of me, half of you – beyond blessed.’
Jack’s current and former teammates were quick to congratulate the pair on their happy news, including Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Ollie Watkins.

It comes after Jack is thought to be ‘still on edge after £1m raid on his £5.6m home eight months ago’.
Sasha was at home with 10 family members when the break-in occurred, and quickly raised the alarm at the property.
A massive search was initiated involving helicopters and dogs, and according to reports, the burglary gang attempted to raid the mansion one month before the attack but were scared off when they spotted a police car nearby.
A source told The Sun: ‘Jack fears they will never be caught. This left him absolutely distraught — it impacted him and his family badly.
‘Seven months on and no arrests have been made. Police say they are still investigating it, but there’s a real fear they have fled the country.’
The source added: ‘Jack is worried they’ll never be caught and will do it again.’
