Trump supporters were outraged after View co-host Ana Navarro shared a nude photo of Melania Trump on Instagram while attempting to defend the dating history of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Navarro, 52, has described her political position as ‘centrist’ in the past and has been a vocal critic of former President Trump and his administration.
But the Nicaraguan-born Republican strategist went rouge while defending Harris, who has been the subject of attacks since announcing her candidacy.
Some of the attacks on Harris have seen her being called a ‘Jezebel’ coupled with insults over her not having biological kids.
The attacks have focused mainly on rumors about Harris’ dating history which angered Navarro, forcing her to rally with a heated response.
‘Some Republicans are out there on TV and social media making vile sexual remarks about Kamala Harris and wanting to make her dating history an issue,’ Navarro said.
‘This country deserves a debate on real issues, affecting us all. But you want to make this an issue? Bring it on.’
Navarro attached the naked photo of Melania Trump which show the former first lady lying on a fur rug wearing diamond jewelry, handcuffed to a briefcase. The photo was taken in January 2000 as part of a GQ photoshoot.
A second picture was also included with an image of the Trump’s at a party with known sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
‘I’ve never seen naked pics of Kamala Harris or her spouse. Kamala never partied with sexual predators,’ Navarro went on. ‘You wanna go low? I’m not leaving one thing unanswered this time. Not a one. I’ll happily go 20,000 leagues under the sea.’
Some Harris’ attackers have brought up her past relationships with talk show host Montell Williams and former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.
In one attack, far-right political activist Laura Loomer accused Harris, 59, of previously being a sex worker for ‘successful, rich, black men’ alleging she performed sexual favors in return for power.
Many Trump supporters were unhappy at Navarro’s outburst and the picture used to launch her attack.
‘You should be FIRED off the view!!!! How dare you post something like this on someone who didn’t say or do anything!!!!! Go after those that are campaigning but SHE’S NOT!!!! How dare you!!! This is the reason this show sucks,’ wrote one commenter.
‘Women tearing down other women is a form of self hate. There is no reason outside of envy and hate should another woman open their mouths to tear down another woman,’ added another.

‘Can we stop bashing fellow women just for once? Kamala has a pretty impressive history as a prosecutor in California thank goodness !! Mrs. Trump was a fashion model in her early years and I’m sure she took several more pictures worse than this one, but can we stop bashing these two ladies please,’ pleaded a third.
Harris has been subjected to a number of attacks in recent days. In another recently resurfaced clip, this time from 2021, Trump’s VP pick JD Vance singled out Harris, as he said that those who hadn’t procreated, particularly ‘childless cat ladies,’ were ‘miserable’ and had no ‘direct stake’ in the country.
Harris supporters were quick to point out that no US president has ever physically given birth, since all have been men. A handful have also never produced any offspring.
Chief among them was George Washington, America’s first president who like Harris helped raise his spouse’s children from a previous marriage.
Meghan McCain, daughter of late Republican senator John McCain, warned that Vance’s comments ‘are activating women across all sides, including my most conservative Trump supporting friends.’
Harris has two stepchildren, Cole and Ella, through her husband Doug Emhoff and his first wife.
Their mother, Kerstin Emhoff, said in a statement to CNN that the attacks on Harris were ‘baseless.’
‘For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I,’ she said.
‘I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it.’
Ella, age 25, who refers to Harris as ‘Momala,’ meanwhile wrote on Instagram that ‘I love my three parents.’
