Sir Keir Starmer was warned his ‘honeymoon is over’ after taking his first PMQs since his election victory as he squared off against his old foe Rishi Sunak in the Commons.
The Labour leader stood opposite Mr Sunak at the despatch box but with their roles reversed as he was grilled about Labour’s infighting over the two-child benefit cap, building on the green belt and migration.
Mr Sunak made a self-deprecating joke in relation to his defeat at the General Election by suggesting Team GB’s Olympians would not be coming to him for advice on winning.
