Declan Donnelly and wife Ali Astall headed out for a romantic date on Wednesday.

The couple, who are proud parents to Jack, 23 months, and daughter Isla, five, took time off parenting duties to head to Bacchanalia restaurant in Mayfair.

Dec, 48, appeared in high spirits and was dressed up in a navy shirt, while Ali, 45, looked lovely in a pink floral dress.

The mother-of-two complemented the look with a nude Chanel handbag and strappy shoes.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, the restaurant provides Greek and Mediterranean food.

The evening out  comes after Ali enjoyed a girls’ night out at Wembley over the weekend to watch Taylor Swift.

Ant McPartlin and Dec decided to snub the TRIC Awards on Monday as they lost out for the second year running to fellow presenter Bradley Walsh for TV Personality Of The Year.

The TV presenting duo were nowhere to be seen – despite being nominated in three different categories at the awards – TV Personality, Entertainment and Gameshow categories.

This is the second year that the British TV stars have lost out to Bradley, 64, for the TV Personality award and also failed to pick up the other two gongs.

After missing out last year in all three categories, the pair missed the mark again at the ceremony, which was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel.

They had three contenders for the Entertainment Award, as Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain’s Got Talent and Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win were up for nomination.

But after losing out on all three categories for all five nominations, Ant and Dec didn’t make an appearance this year.

Since 2004 – the year they won their first TRIC TV Personality Award – they have won 15 separate awards across the three categories and been nominated for a total of 38 gongs.

Bradley also beat Piers Morgan and Martin Lewis in the category.

Despite winning the gong, Bradley also did not appear at the ceremony this year.

Elsewhere at the star-studded event, Eamonn Holmes struggled onto the stage with the aid of a walker as he accepted an award today.

In his first public appearance since news of his shock divorce from Ruth Langsford  the TV presenter, 64, admitted he is on ‘borrowed time’ as he confessed: ‘I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all’.
