Rob Rinder and Rylan Clark have reportedly landed a second series of their hit BBC travel show.

The fan favourite duo have captured the nation’s heart with their fun-filled, historic adventures around some of Italy’s most cultural cities.

The former X Factor star, 35, and barrister, 46, travelled Italy in Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour earlier this year and even quipped their friendship was ‘growing into love’.

And now their blossoming connection can continue, as the show is set to return next year, according to The Sun.

While the pals’ last voyage took them to Venice, Florence and Rome, this time they’re likely to visit some different cultural capitals.

A TV insider told the publication: ‘It’s at the very early stages and the Beeb haven’t fully signed off on the sequel.

‘But the team behind the show didn’t want to take a gap year before starting work again. So they are already looking at where Rob and Rylan’s next adventure could take them.’

The pair are reportedly ‘confident’ that they will want to continue their time on the road and venture out to ‘Spain, Greece or France looking for cultural enlightenment’.

The reports of their second season comes just days after Rylan joked his mum, Linda Clark, is convinced he’s engaged Rob after the pair grew close while filming their BBC travel show.

But despite the duo consistently denying rumours they were dating, the TV host says his mother, who appears with him on Celebrity Gogglebox, is unconvinced.

On Friday they were reunited when Rylan appeared as a guest ITV’s Lorraine while Rob co-hosted GMB with Kate Garraway.

During the handover between shows Kate poked fun at rumours and introduced Rylan as Rob’s ‘friend and not fiancé’.

As Rylan quipped: ‘From your mouth to my mum’s ears!’.

Recalling how his and Rob’s friendship blossomed during filming, Rylan previously said during an appearance on This Morning: ‘In Venice we stayed in separate accommodation.

‘Then in Florence it is the same accommodation but separate rooms and by Rome I am waking up with him on top of me like ‘Get off me barrister!”

He added: ‘We started this process as mates and we’ve finished it as actual genuine friends and that’s probably one of the best things to come out of it.’
