A conservative journalist has claimed she was discriminated against on an American Airlines flight because of her ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.
Self-employed reporter Heather Mullins aired the alleged saga on X Sunday, following a first-class trip from Detroit to Philadelphia.
She claimed an unnamed female flight attendant skipped her when taking drink orders, and that when asked about it, she responded snidely.
The former insurance broker goes on to describe how she eventually got her beverage, but only after everyone else.
She went on to share the story to her more than 111,000 followers – all of whom she’s secured over seven years by posting pro-Trump content. One from this past April shows her flaunting a MAGA cap on another flight. The airline has yet to comment.

She aired the alleged saga on X, following a first-class trip from Detroit to Philadelphia
‘I’ve worn my MAGA hat every time I’ve flown for the last four years and got thousands of fist bumps. NEVER got any hate,’ Mullins’ post begins.
‘Well, there’s a first time for everything.
‘I just had the flight attendant for @AmericanAirlines SKIP ME in first class when asking everyone if they wanted a drink!!’
The woman who first tried reporting seven years ago after working on 2016 Presidential candidate Gary Johnson’s failed campaign went on: ‘She asked the guy next to me and then walked away. I thought it was odd she didn’t ask me.
‘So when she came back I asked her if I could get a drink, and in the nastiest voice, she was like “No. I’ll be back for you,” and proceeded to serve the people behind me.
‘They were then in shock,’ she claimed. ‘I was the last one to get served.
‘And now everyone on the plane is floored and talking about it.’
The post quickly garnered more than 2million views, and a bevy of replies.
Several asked for more insight into the alleged situation, and Mullins obliged.
‘I’m honestly in shock,’ she wrote at one point, a few minutes after the initial update.
‘It’s sad that just happened in America. But so grateful for all the kind people around me saying how awful it was she did that to me. She’s an anomaly. Most people are not like that.’

That post was published at 7am ET, and as of writing, no follow-up has surfaced. American has not responded to Mullins’s tagged complaints, which are quickly gaining traction online. She is seen here with the aspiring president in a post this past April
Within two hours, another post came in which Mullins described how she allegedly attempted to file a complaint to the airline, but was met with bureaucratic red tape.
DailyMail.com has reached out to American for comment.
‘Tried to file a complaint during my layover,’ the reporter wrote at around 8:54pm ET, in a post that’s also been seen hundreds of thousands of times.
‘First woman said I needed to call a Supervisor. Supervisor told me it would be over an hour to get a manager and to go to the website.
‘When I tried recording her instructions she got upset and called a customer service manager.
‘He then called an “inflight” manager or something who said they couldn’t come down.
‘I was given the CSR managers business card and told to fill out a report at the website he wrote on the back,’ Mullins claimed.
When onlookers suggested the alleged snub could see the woman fired, Mullins shared the flight’s number, as well as the route. She also aired the unnamed female employee’s unique employer ID, before describing her as ‘an older Asian woman.’
