Perrie Edwards shared a sweet tribute to her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to mark Father’s Day on Sunday.

The Little Mix star, 30, shares her son Axel, two, with the footballer, and the singer took to Instagram with an adorable snap of their son on Alex’s shoulders.

As the two boys grinned, Perrie wrote: ‘Happy Father’s Day to the best Dadda @alexoxchamberlain’.

Perrie and Alex welcomed their son together back in August 2021 and Alex later  proposed to the star in June 2022 during a romantic beach walk at sunset.

While the pair are yet to walk down the aisle, Perrie revealed earlier this year that deciding how many people to invite to her wedding ‘keeps her awake at night’.

Speaking to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2 Perrie talked about the pressures of capping the number of invitees.

Radio host Scott asked the hitmaker: ‘With the invites, what’s the cut-off point?’

‘Me and Alex have had this conversation night in and night out,’ Perrie replied. ‘It keeps me awake at night.’

Scott went on to say that Perrie is a very well-liked person but insisted there has to be a cut-off so she doesn’t end up with hundreds upon hundreds of guests.

‘Otherwise darling you’ve got 5,6,7 hundred people coming to your wedding,’ he said.

Perrie replied: ‘This is very true. Alex says this, and Alex is very cutthroat whereas I’m not. I’m like, “Well they need a plus one” right? But do they, though?’

Scott, who recently married his partner Sam Vaughan, said: ‘Well, what I have learnt from this is there’s always going to be people who are a bit annoyed and some of them will tell you.’

‘Oh no, I can’t deal with this drama,’ Perrie said. ‘It’s not about them, it’s not about, it’s about you.’

Perrie recently launched her solo career and revealed that Axel is her biggest fan and he already ‘knows all the words’ to all of her songs at just age two.

Appearing on Capital Breakfast in April, host Sian Welby asked the star: ‘I wondered whether you played the songs to Axel, just for a bit of reaction?’

Perrie then explained that her son is her biggest fan, and even has his own nickname for her recording studio, ‘the la la room’.

She said: ‘Yes, I play him everything. My studio is in the house so he calls it the ‘la la room’ and he’ll just let himself in mid takes, like I’m in my zone, and he’ll just come in.. ‘la la la la la’ and then he’s like, ‘not this one’.

‘Like anytime I put a ballad on he’s like “not this.” And I’m like, “oh, you don’t want this ballad?” And he goes, “no, I want to dance”.

‘And I’m like, okay, so you want a more upbeat one, and he’s got his favourite, which I can’t name now. But he will be like “play, play” and as soon as it comes on, he like, goes for it. And he knows all the words to all the songs. It’s so cute!’
