Air Force officials are investigating a captain who posted a viral video of himself driving nearly 100 mph as he sped down a residential street in Las Vegas in a Tesla Cybertruck, according to reports.

Captain Matthew Wallace, who is stationed at Creech Air Force Base, could be seen using just his pinky finger to make dangerously rapid turns in a video shared to his X account on June 2.

The video shows Wallace driving down what appears to be an empty residential street, then wiggling his pinky finger before taking his hands off the wheel and using just that tiny finger to turn the vehicle.

After completing the turn, Wallace put both hands back on the wheel and accelerated with the speedometer showing he reached approximately 83 mph within 10 seconds.

‘Cybertruck makes a U Turn using only my pinky. Check mate,’ Wallace said on his since deleted post.

A 35 mph speed limit sign could be seen on the street as Wallace reached 54 mph in the Cybertruck.

Major Joost Verduyn, a spokesperson for Fifteenth Air Force, told KLAS their command is aware of the video and is investigating the matter.

Wallace responded to critics of his video saying, ‘Also you notice there’s not a single car or a single pedestrian on the road?’

‘Ya think maybe I was smart enough to reach out to my cop buddies and let em know I was conducting a road test and they have cordoned off the area for me? Nice try buttercup.’

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told the local news station they are not aware of officers closing streets for Wallace.

They noted they are unable to cite the driver for speeding based on this specific video and said investigations originating from video are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Tesla Cybertrucks have been involved in a string of mishaps since the highly-anticipated release of the electric vehicles in November.

In May, one of the futuristic pickup trucks got caught on video trying to cross a California river.

The Cybertruck attempted to drive over the waters edge, but got caught before the back tires could cross onto land.

The driver reversed the vehicle to the opposite edge in an effort to gain momentum, but failed again to successfully cross.
