Zac Brown’s estranged wife Kelly Yazdi has hit out at her ex, after a judge denied his emergency temporary restraining order against her.

The model, 33, shared a video and a lengthy caption where she stated she will ‘not be threatened or intimidated into submission.’

Yazdi added that if the singer, 45, ‘continues to pursue his ill-fated quest for a court injunction to silence me’ she will ‘meet him in court fully loaded with the truth about what has happened over the course of our relationship.’

Yazdi made a similar statement last month, after the country star filed the restraining order against her over Instagram posts he claimed were allegedly in violation of a confidentiality agreement she signed.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Brown’s representatives for comment.

Zac Brown's ex Kelly Yazdi 'will not be silenced' by him… after he files for 'ridiculous' temporary restraining order over 'two poems' she posted on Instagram: 'I have lawyers too'

Yazdi was married to the Zac Brown Band founder for less than four months before they legally separated last December, but they had been a couple as far back as May 2022.

Yazdi began her lengthy caption on Monday writing, ‘On May 24th, the federal district court Judge denied Zac Brown’s attempt to get a gag order to silence me from posting a poem about broken relationships.’

She went on: ‘Remarkably, Zac’s response to having his motion summarily denied was to issue a press release doubling-down on his defamatory attacks on me, accusing me of using the lawsuit he filed against me as an ad hoc press release, and vowing to press his meritless lawsuit forward.’

‘Because it appears, for now, that Zac intends to do just that, it is important to know that I am not a willing participant in that agenda.’

‘Indeed, I have issued no press release on the circumstances of our pending divorce – only Zac has done so,’ she added.

‘Likewise, I have not used my far more limited platform to defame or humiliate Zac – yet barely a month after filing for divorce that is precisely what he did to me when he recut our wedding video into a music video which replaced my images with a lookalike model popping pills, and distributed the video to the entire world.’

‘Nor did I initiate a lawsuit to air my grievances, where they would be obvious tabloid fodder – only Zac has done so.’

Yazdi went on to say she hopes the two can resolve their divorce ‘like adults, in private, and with respect for each other.’

She wrapped up the statement adding that she will not be ‘threatened’ and is awaiting her apology from the singer.

‘I will not be threatened or intimidated into submission — if Zac continues to pursue his ill-fated quest for a court injunction to silence me, or again publicly defames me or accuses me of dishonesty, I will meet him in court fully loaded with the truth about what has happened over the course of our relationship.’

‘In the meantime, I await my apology from Zac, and take solace knowing that the federal courts in this country remain committed to protecting free speech – even when the adversary is a celebrity with virtually unlimited resources and a very large megaphone.’

Last month the influencer shared similar sentiments about the restraining order, writing, ‘No one — not even Zac Brown with all of his money, power, celebrity, and lawyers – may silence my right to freely express myself through art or, although I have to date declined to do so publicly, to speak about the circumstances of our pending divorce.’

Kelly believes the posts the country crooner considered ‘false, defamatory, or otherwise harmful’ were two poems that did not name him but one included the hashtags: #narcissisticabuse, #narcissistsurvivor, #narcssistrecovery, #narcissist, and #narcissisticpersonalitydisorder.

‘What will become of this story inside my chest?’ Yazdi wrote in another poem last week.

‘Will I excavate it from my bones give it light and water, and air? Let it bloom into a garden of flowers in your name? Or will I let it stay and let you bury me? This is the question I am always asking myself: What will become of my stories: gardens or graveyards? The photosynthesis of healing.’

‘Yet he now claims his “only hope” is that we show each other “mutual respect” by keeping “private matters private” as we negotiate the terms of our divorce,’ Kelly continued.

‘In a misguided effort to do just that, I have made no public response to either of those very public, very unnecessary personal attacks on me by my celebrity soon-to-be-ex-husband. But it is clearly Zac, not me, who has strategically chosen to drag our difficult divorce negotiations into the public eye with these tactics in an effort to portray himself as a victim and to use his vast resources to silence me from telling the truth about our marriage.

‘It will not work, and I will not be silenced by him no matter how ridiculous his tactics. Like Zac, I have lawyers too, and I will tell my truth in court — where he has unnecessarily dragged me.’

The Pirates & Parrots rocker originally met the Good Grit Magazine editor in 2005 through a mutual friend shortly after she graduated from Georgia State University, and when they shared their first New Year’s Eve kiss he declared her ‘the one.’

‘We feel blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions. It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple,’ the former couple said in a statement at the time.

‘We have led a whirlwind life together growing into a beautiful family with five amazing children and while life will be rearranging a bit, our love and commitment to our family will always be there. This was a difficult decision, but we’ve done plenty of tough things together and this is our next venture — love, mutual respect, and care for each other are what we are moving forward with.’
