A Florida woman attempted to evade arrest by jumping into the ocean after she was caught having sex on a popular pier on Memorial Day.

Allyssia Razo, 20, and Zadok Westfield, 23, were engaging in sexual intercourse on the Naples Pier on Monday, according to police.

Police received multiple calls that the two were being intimate behind a locked gate with visible ‘no trespassing’ signage.

Naples Police Officer Matthew Blomquist responded to the scene and began to arrest the couple when Razo jumped into the Gulf of Mexico.

‘I instructed her [Razo] not to jump from the pier but she did, in attempt to evade me, and began to swim northeast towards the beach,’ the police report said.

Her attempt to flee failed and she was caught by beach patrol when she exited the water in the area of Board Ave S beach end.

Westfield stayed at the pier and told police he and Razo had swam to the end of the pier and climbed to the top to jump off but eventually started having sex.

The officer said he found the pair in a comprising position.

He described them both as ‘looking disheveled’, adding that Westfield was completely nude.

One witness told police she was at the beach near the pier with her children and her friends children, ages 7, 11, 12 and 15, when they looked at the pier and the pair in the act.

Only a 100-foot portion of the popular sightseeing pier is open to the public due to damage from Hurricane Ian.

Both have been charged with trespassing and breach of peace, while Razo has additionally been resisting an officer without violence.

Westfield and Razo posted bond on Monday and have court dates scheduled for June 19.
